Kyle Richards’ list of potential suitors consists of both “men and women.”
During an appearance on “Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa” Wednesday, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star admitted that she had “random people” of both sexes slide into her DMs following her split from Mauricio Umansky.
“I have men and women messaging me now which is so funny,” Richards told Ripa, noting that it “didn’t used to be like that.”
However, the Bravolebrity, 55, said there haven’t been any major celebrities coming out of the woodwork to express interest in her.
Despite being single, Richards explained that it’s been “hard to wrap [her] head around” the idea of dating again after being with Umanksy, 53, for nearly 30 years.
“Of course I thought about that and my friends make all kinds of jokes and stuff, you know,” she explained. “I mean that day will come regardless because we are separated and we’re allowed to do what we want to do right now. That’s the way it is.”
When the day comes that Richards is finally ready to put herself out there, she hopes to find a connection in person — insisting that she is “not going on any dating apps.”

However, Richards gave a non-answer when asked if she and rumored girlfriend Morgan Wade share an “emotional relationship” since she has denied being with the country singer romantically.
“What we see on the internet is what people choose to put out there,” Richards replied, noting that her other female friendships aren’t scrutinized the same way.
Richards explained away the rumors by claiming she and Wade were only linked romantically due to the “timing” of her split from Umanksy.
Page Six confirmed in July 2023 that Richards and Umansky had separated after 27 years of marriage. The pair share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16, as well as Farrah Brittany, 35 — from the “RHOBH” star’s first marriage.
The estranged couple have both kept tight-lipped on the reason for their split; however, Richards hinted that it was due to a culmination of little things on the podcast Wednesday.
The mother of four became emotional while explaining that, like any couple, the pair swept issues under the rug for years before finally being forced to address them.
“You probably, like me, have had things throughout your marriage that you guys will fight about now and then and it kinda never goes away,” she explained. “And then it comes up again and then you may have an argument and you make up or whatever and then you go and it keeps coming up.”
Richards said she “reached [her] breaking point” after it became clear that Umansky wasn’t actively “working” on the things that “were very important” to her.
“You’re not doing the work and these are my needs,” she explained. “I at least need to see the effort”
“It sounds like a cliché but life is too short,” she added.
