Lindsay Hubbard flaunts baby bump at Kyle Cooke’s DJ gig
Kyle Cooke revealed that Lindsay Hubbard’s ex-fiancé Carl Radke predicted her pregnancy before she announced she was expecting.
“He actually told me last fall, ‘I bet she’s pregnant by the time of the summer,’” Cooke exclusively told Page Six at Cooke’s Endless Summer Kickoff Event at Magic Hour in New York City on Thursday.
“He’s like, ‘I bet she has a boyfriend by the reunion, and she’s pregnant by the summer.’ And I’m like, ‘Come on buddy.’ And I don’t know what kinda crystal ball he had.”
The “Summer House” star went on to say that he has “so much respect” for how Radke reacted to the news.
“His immediate reaction was like, ‘I’m genuinely happy for her. That’s what she’s wanted,’” Cooke shared.
Cooke, 41, teased that Radke, 39, and Hubbard, 37, were able to “break the ice” earlier this summer, so they’ve been able to be on “amicable” terms.
“Just to see them chatting it up is gonna be good for everybody, because ultimately, there was a really long friendship under there, and I hope that at the very least, they can be amicable and maybe by the end of the summer –– they’re not gonna be besties –– but I’d like to think they can both kinda admit to one another like, ‘Yeah, this is for the best,’” Cooke shared.
The Loverboy founder revealed that he’s also “incredibly happy” for Hubbard — his longtime friend and co-star.
“I know we have a history of love and hate and brotherly sisterly love, but I think the key word there is love. Like, I have known that she’s wanted to be a mom practically since I’ve known her,” he said.
Cooke added that Hubbard has been “incredibly nice” since she learned of her pregnancy, and it’s been “refreshing to see that side of her I’ve always known is there.”
The entrepreneur shared the update before taking center stage in front of fans and his co-stars to show off his DJ skills.
“Alcohol and music go pretty well together, and I’ve already been throwing parties, but instead of a boring meet and greet where people wait in line for two hours, now people can get their pictures, but we can actually throw a party,” he explained.
Cooke admitted that while “some” of his friends have been a “little critical” of his new venture, most of them have been “supportive.”
“I’ve always been the guy on the aux cord like my entire life, high school, college, I always was the guy into music,” he said, while adding that he practiced his skills by going into clubs “when no one’s there.”
“DJing is more intertwined with Loverboy, and my true passion and what I’m doing at wee hours of the night is learning how to produce music,” he continued telling us.
Cooke also raved about how Thursday night’s party was at Magic Hour –– a place he’s frequented and seen other artists DJ at for years.
“It’s one of the most epic rooftops in the entire city. It’s huge, it has an unbelievable view, they always do these sick installations, and the first time i was ever here at Magic Hour, Pitbull was performing, so they bring in all sorts of various music artists,” he shared.
All of Cooke’s co-stars were present for the event and were seen dancing the night away, chatting and snapping selfies with fans.
At one point, Hubbard was even seen holding a club sign that read, “Congrats Lindsay,” while she wore a shirt opened up to reveal her growing belly.
Hubbard announced that she and her boyfriend –– who has since been identified as Dr. Turner Kufe –– were expecting their first child together on the Fourth of July.
The former publicist later revealed that she found out she was pregnant in April and told her boyfriend shortly afterwards.
Hubbard shared the exciting news less than one year after Radke called off their engagement in August 2023 after being together for a little less than two years.
