Although Kim Zolciak is currently navigating a financial and marital crisis, she’s always able to find time to stay abreast on what’s happening in the world of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
That means she’s fully up to date on the mess that just happened with Kenya Moore, and she’s got some strong opinions.
While most of Kenya’s RHOA sisters have been publicly supportive amid her Season 16 controversy, Kim isn’t on the same page. She’s not ready to sing Kenya’s praises, and it doesn’t sound like she’s going to miss her in the upcoming season.
Good riddance?
Kenya confirmed her exit from the show after being suspended from filming. Allegedly, she showed a sexually explicit image of newbie cast member Brittany Eady during the grand opening of her hair spa. The jury is still out on how true that is. However, Kim claimed she got insider knowledge of what happened and told E! News that Kenya got what she deserved.
“I was updated by another housewife on what Kenya did,” Kim claimed. “I’ve always said that her character is heavily flawed. She’s where she needs to be at this point.”
Yikes! Kenya has denied any wrongdoing, but either way, Kim’s reaction is a huge difference compared to the rest of the former RHOA cast. For example, Kandi Burruss and Claudia Jordan saluted Kenya for all of her contributions to the show over the years. Even NeNe Leakes kept things neutral when talking about the exit. So, why doesn’t Kim recognize how good Kenya is for the show? Perhaps it has something to do with her eyeing a comeback.
For years, Kim has turned her nose up at the idea of coming back to RHOA. According to her, she’s still navigating PTSD from her experiences on the show. The recent cast shakeups, however, have caused her to reconsider.
“I’d have to seriously consider it,” Kim said. “One thing that I just don’t do well with and never have is the negativity and the drama. I’m a pretty positive person. I love to laugh, I love to help people, and Housewives at times is extremely trying and very disappointing.”
Losing Kenya was also extremely trying and very disappointing, but clearly, Kim doesn’t see that. In the meantime, Season 16 is pushing forward. The cameras are up, and it’s unclear if any of the Kenya drama will even make it into the final cut.
