It’s a true New Orleans fairytale.
Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson, the lovebirds from the latest season of ABC’s “The Bachelor,” look like certified Southern royalty in their new engagement photoshoot.
In dreamy images snapped by Louisiana-based photographers Joshua and Kirsten Waguespack of Aperture Photos, and shared with GulfLive.com, the couple enjoys a perfect New Orleans day: prancing through City Park, sipping on frozen drinks from Molly’s at the Market and sharing a pie from Louisiana Pizza Kitchen in the French Quarter.
The couple has been living in the Crescent City since Anderson, a 26-year-old project manager from New Orleans, won the final rose in the season finale of the hit reality show.
Although ‘The Bachelor’ concluded on March 25, episodes of the show typically air a few months after filming. Graziadei’s Instagram caption, “11.12.23 ❤️” has led fans to believe their real engagement date was Nov. 12.
The pair has announced plans to move to New York in the coming months, but are sharing a home with Anderson’s two female roommates in the meantime.
“I’m on a comedy skit right now. I feel like I’m full-on in a ‘New Girl’ situation,” Graziadei said in a June episode of Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets podcast.
Until their East Coast adventure, it seems the couple is making the most of their New Orleans summer.
Oh, and just to clear things up, Graziadei is not drinking milk in the bar photos.
“It’s a frozen Irish coffee from @mollysondecatur ❤️” Anderson clarified in an Instagram comment.
Spoken like a true NOLA native.
