Rich Wakile is not at all in good graces with the Gorgas, according to Joe Gorga’s recently shared experience. It’s a bit of a shame since the Gorgas and Wakiles seemed to be on good terms after Kathy Wakile finished her time on Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Unfortunately, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga split RHONJ into two camps. Ultimately, it seemed the Wakile family took to neither camp. When news broke that Kathy and Rich were building a house near the Gorgas, Melissa had high hopes.

Sadly, Kathy dashed Mel’s hopes almost right away. On Watch What Happens Live, she called the area “Melissa Way,” because, “Apparently, she owns the street.” Shortly after the fact, Joe shared a recent encounter with Rich that seemed just as rude.

Is Rich Wakile still bitter about leaving RHONJ? Joe Gorga thinks so…

On Joe and Melissa’s podcast, they addressed the seeming animosity from the Wakiles. “There was a time, you know, when … I ran into Richie,” Joe said. “We were at a plumbing supply place and I was up on the dock and he was down on the bottom. I didn’t realize that he was down there. And I was loading my plumbing material and I tripped – I trip over the forklift.”

“The guy goes, ‘Oh, are you all right?’ I look up and it’s Richie … And this was the time they bought the property and they were gonna move into the neighborhood. I was being nice. I go, ‘Hey, what’s up Richie? What’s up Wakile? … Welcome to the neighborhood!’ And you know what he said to me?”

“He goes, ‘Hey! That’s Mister Wakile to you!’ And he goes to his car and he takes off. Like, really rude and nasty, and I’m like, ‘Okay.’” Joe figured that Rich was “still bitter because [he] got kicked off the show.” Melissa seemed to disagree but Joe told the Wakiles to “Get over it.” Melissa added, “It is what it is.”
