Summer House‘s Jesse Solomon is in need of some design help with his Brooklyn apartment.
When the financier isn’t living it up in the Hamptons on the weekends, he is living at his Brooklyn apartment. Although Jesse hasn’t shared much about his bachelor pad, he did give his Instagram followers a look at his gorgeous backyard space recently.
The question on his mind is: What would Jesse Solomon do….to his backyard?
Jesse Solomon’s Backyard Oasis in Brooklyn
Jesse took to his Instagram Story on Monday, July 29 where he gave his followers a brief look at his outdoor space, which is a lot more than most people living in Brooklyn have.
“I know I’m blessed to have an outdoor area in New York City…I guess, Brooklyn,” Jesse said during the tour. “But, this is a sorry-ass excuse for a backyard.”
This private, astroturfed oasis has its own back porch, outdoor dining area, couch, and many chairs. It’s the perfect space for throwing epic Summer House level parties, or just entertaining a few friends. Jesse also showed off another view of the patio, which has a giant mirror and multiple planters (without plants) sitting on the porch.
This backyard is the perfect blank canvas. It just needs some color and a few more decorations to make it complete. But Jesse thinks it might need some paint, too. “I’m gonna give that back wall a makeover,” he said in the video. “So if you guys know any muralists…I think it would be fun.”
What does Jesse Solomon do for a living?
Jesse explained what he does during the days to The Daily Dish in May. “I raise money for funds,” he said. “Finance companies invest in things, and I get them the money they need to invest.”
He also revealed that he does some “finance stuff” on a more part-time basis. “I help small and medium-sized businesses find alternative capital to traditional bank financing,” he further explained.
The Illinois native, who studied music business in college, knew he had to either move to New York or Los Angeles after college if he wanted to work in the music industry. “I just had a lot more friends living in New York, so I just thought it’d be a good place for me,” he said. “Then I got the job at [entertainment agency] William Morris [Endeavor] in the mail room in New York, so it was kind of my dream job at the time.”
But, in addition to living in his Brooklyn apartment, he confirmed he is now “back and forth” between Miami and New York.
