Rachel Fuda seemingly reacted to Teresa Giudice’s post about social media hate as the newbie castmate shared the definition of “gaslighting” and a quote about “hypocrite[s].” Around the same time, fellow Bravoleb Lala Kent – who’s taken heat for her own actions on Vanderpump Rules – supported Teresa’s message. Jennifer Aydin then clapped back at Melissa Gorga’s post about a “Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing,” and Jennifer wrote: “Pot, meet kettle.”
Before the current season of Real Housewives of New Jersey, a social media account claimed Teresa and Jennifer leaked upcoming scenes to expose certain castmates, including Teresa’s estranged sister-in-law Melissa and Margaret Josephs. Amid the wave of online hate, Teresa shared a post calling out the toxicity, saying it’s affecting the entire cast and their families.
Following Teresa‘s post, Rachel took to Instagram and shared the definition of “gaslighting.”
“Gaslighting is a specific kind of emotional abuse that involves simultaneous attempts to convince a person of something untrue while also suggesting that they are wrong, crazy, or not seeing things clearly. Beyond normal persuasion, gaslighting is the intentional act of misleading something and using manipulative or deceptive tactics to undermine their perception of reality,” said the quote on Rachel’s Instagram.
“In relationships, gaslighting is usually a recurrent pattern of behavior aimed at breaking down a person’s ability to criticize, question or challenge the other person now and in the future.”
In another post, Rachel shared a quote from ‘Someecards’ about how there’s “nothing funnier” than a “hypocrite with a big mouth & a bad memory.”
Despite Rachel’s apparent shade, Lala supported Teresa’s message, sharing it on her own Instagram with a folded-hands emoji.
Around the same time, Melissa seemingly offered her own response to Teresa’s post, sharing a quote about a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”
Jennifer reacted to Melissa in the comments: “Pot, meet kettle.”
