Ozempic use among the Real Housewives is widespread and well-documented. Just among Real Housewives of New Jersey, Dolores Catania, and Margaret Josephs have admitted to being huge proponents of the trendy weight-loss drug. But what about Teresa Giudice’s BFF Jennifer Aydin?
So how did Jennifer do it? During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Jen denied using Ozempic but confessed to something else.
Jen loves “being this weight”
Jen appeared on WWHL for the July 14 episode to react to the recent RHONJ episodes. At one point, she commented on her new look.
“I am not on Ozempic!” the veteran Bravolebrity told host Andy Cohen. “So for anybody who is yelling at me saying my head is too big for my body, it’s just my hair. And that I have to stop taking Ozempic because their family members can’t get it, I am not on Ozempic.”
It turns out that Jennifer was making a joke on a technicality. After all, there are different brand names for the family of semiglutides.
“I’m on Mounjaro, okay,” the mother-of-five said. “Mounjaro 2.5. I’m sorry! I love being this weight, I love it! I have so much energy if you couldn’t tell.”
It’s certainly been an action-packed season in terms of drama. Perhaps she’s got too much energy now.
Jen is at odds with Danielle Cabral after a physical altercation at Tre’s house. The two were reduced to snarky interactions at a recent event. She is now questioning her friendship with Teresa after feeling unsupported in the fight with Danielle.
As for the topic of weight-loss drugs within the group, there is one peripheral figure that will never use Ozempic. That’s Jackie Goldschneider, author of The Weight of Beautiful.
