Jennifer Aydin and Danielle Cabral created a whirlwind on Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14. Even while the season was still in production, the two made headlines for an allegedly bloody confrontation.
Bravo suspended the two from filming for a short time. Eventually, fans would see the confrontation, which exemplified just how trigger-happy the New Jersey Housewives became after Season 13.
However, despite it all, Jennifer now claims that the drama with Danielle is over. “There’s a period on that drama,” she shared with the press. “It’s over for me.” But that didn’t stop her from sharing some rather inflammatory remarks about Danielle immediately after.
Danielle defends her “generous” nature against Jennifer’s claims
“I just realized qualities that really I wouldn’t have in a friend, which were entitlement,” Jen told Us Weekly. However, Jennifer did note that she respected Danielle’s “hustle.” Nevertheless, she continued, “I just don’t like it if you have to step on people to do it. For me, that was my gripe because I didn’t even know if she realized what she was doing. It was just very entitled.”
“Being in the public eye, they will remember on your way up how you treat people. I’m here six years and I’ve never treated people the way that she’s treated people. I just find as a friend, I had to call her out on it, and she did not take that constructive criticism well.”
Danielle responded to Jen’s comments in a statement to Us. She wrote, “Throughout my time in the public eye, I’ve learned that not everyone will support you, and some may attempt to spread false narratives.”
“I take great pride in being a kind, loving, and generous person, especially now more than ever.” She prided herself on using her platform to help those who were less visible. “As always, the truth will prevail. I will continue to stay in my own lane, remain true to my values, and use my platform for the greater good. Like I always say, good always wins.”
Real Housewives of New Jersey continues Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
