Jennifer Aydin, Teresa Giudice, and Dolores Catania reacted to RHONJ reboot rumors, as Jennifer shared what she’d do if not asked back to Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Recently, Bravo host Andy Cohen indicated that the show was getting rebooted, and he hinted that the entire cast could be replaced. Later, he explained that RHONJ’s future is still up in the air, and the network hasn’t yet made any decisions.
Throughout the current season, the cast has essentially been divided into teams. Melissa Gorga’s ‘team’ barely filmed at all with the team of Teresa, her sister-in-law with whom she’s feuding. The latest episode was the lowest rated in the show’s history, and many blame it on the team mentality.
“Whatever [the Bravo bosses] say I’m sure is the best decision,” said Jennifer of the reboot rumors, in an interview with Daily Mail, via @nolamarianna on TikTok. “For me, there’s no fear. You know, people sit there … like, ‘Oh what if you didn’t have the show?’ I mean, I don’t know. I guess I’ll back to counting my Ferraris.”
Jennifer said, if not asked back, she would go back to her “fabulous life.”
Addressing the same question, Teresa answered: “We’ll see what Bravo, you know, has in store for me. We’ll see.”
Dolores seemingly hinted that the reboot rumors are “scary,” as she “love[s]” doing the show, and she’s “never taken it for granted.”
“I just hope whatever comes of this, I’m a part of it,” Dolores added.
Earlier this week on his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live, Andy clarified his comments about rebooting the show.
“We had a caller the other day who called in about the Jersey Housewives and I was just riffing and I’m like, ‘Yeah.’ You know, she had not heard that we are, you know, gonna reimagine the show in some way and I was just, I’m like, ‘Yeah, well, we’re rebooting it. That’s why. We got it,’ and she was kind of yammering on about Teresa and this and I go, ‘Yeah, well, you know what? Who knows? Maybe it’ll be all fresh faces,’” he said. “I was like, ‘Maybe all fresh faces, maybe not.’”
