When Jackie Goldschneider first entered the Real Housewives of New Jersey realm, I liked her. I thought, “Now, here is an educated woman not willing to roll in the mud with the other women.” But boy, was I wrong. In the RHONJ Season 14 finale, a bombshell was dropped that even Jackie “Judas” Goldschneider couldn’t shy away from.
The lawyer’s fall from grace has been something fiery and chaotic; I couldn’t look away from the blaze of sh*t hitting the fan that was so bright I was left almost blinded. Jackie, like Icarus, just flew too close to the sun.
During the explosive finale, Margaret Josephs was trying to get a word in edgewise when she dropped the bomb that, in fact, Jackie had met with Luis Ruelas’ ex-girlfriend. Teresa Giudice didn’t believe Marge’s claims, but when everyone at the table started to note that there was probably proof in the pudding, Jackie whispered four little words: “I met with her.”
What was all the RHONJ Season 14 finale drama for?
Jackie, who seemed honestly shocked that her dirty laundry was being aired, tried to explain herself. In her confessional, she said, “Listen, it was February of 2021. That season opened with me and Teresa at odds. And the whole world was weighing in on whether or not my husband was cheating on me. Teresa and Jennifer were calling people, trying to get information on my husband, trying to get pictures of women, and here comes this woman saying, ‘Hey, I got something for you to put in your pocket.’”
Jackie went on to say, “So if Teresa was to say to me, ‘Well, your husband did this,’ I could say, ‘Well, your husband did this.’ That’s the game. That’s the game we were playing.” This sentiment sent chills down my spine as a viewer. Never did I think that any woman, let alone Jackie, would stoop so low as to play the same game as Teresa.
Jackie Goldschneider was a ballbuster
The author used to be a beloved addition to the Real Housewives of New Jersey. She wasn’t afraid to go toe-to-toe with the head honcho, Teresa. I recall a time when Jackie wouldn’t let the fear of crossing the OG stop her from saying exactly what was on her mind. In Season 11, Jackie made it clear she wanted nothing to do with Tre while out at a cast dinner.
Teresa clapped back, “That’s fine. I love that. I’m a confident person, you’re so not, I like to hang out with confident people.” In a quick-witted response, Jackie dug low, asking, “Did you get that confidence in jail?” I mean, you couldn’t get more ballsy than that!
Now it seems as though all Jackie has ever wanted is Teresa’s approval. We cannot forget that she was standing in line as a Teresa fan, for her to sign a copy of one of her bestselling books, before she even joined the show.
Miriam Webster wouldn’t be happy
In her early seasons, Jackie became close to Margaret and Melissa Gorga. But somewhere along the lines, her loyalties shifted. It seemed that staying on the popular girls’ side was more important than staying on the right side of history. RHONJ Season 14 showed Jackie turning her back on those you had her back to all those episodes ago. Now, the season finale has shown Jackie being exposed.
Jackie’s major fall from grace isn’t something she can bounce back from, no matter how attached her lips are to Teresa’s behind. The air kiss she blew towards Tre gave me the ick, as it felt more like the kiss of death. I never understood why Jackie switched teams or pretended that she had a real friendship with Tre because that’s all it was: fake. Jennifer Aydin said it best as she reminded fans that Teresa’s instant forgiveness during the Rails sitdown was total BS.
Jackie Goldschneider was her own worst enemy during RHONJ Season 14, and it all came to a head during the finale
Tre is going to change her mind. Once Teresa digests that she had a mole or, dare I say, rat amongst her, she is going to lose her cool. If, by some miracle, Teresa doesn’t go ballistic, then it is only because she doesn’t want to give Margaret the satisfaction of a win. Jen Aydin was actually spitting facts in that regard. But don’t be mistaken Jackie, you will never be trusted again, or included within the inner circle.
Jackie has let fans and, more importantly, herself down. Was it really that important to have ammo on a woman whose main goal in life is to have catalogs of secrets about her co-stars? She had everything going for her, and now she looks like the biggest fool. Personally, I can’t be the only one who has the worst second-hand embarrassment from her. Nice knowing you, Jacs.
