It’s rumored The Valley star, Jax Taylor, entered “rehab,” not an “in-patient” mental health treatment center. (Regardless of the semantics, we wish the best for Jax and his family.)
June 30th:
In case you missed it, the Vanderpump Rules star’s rep gave a statement to TMZ about him seeking help. “Jax has always been candid about his mental health struggles, especially during the past few months on his podcast. He has made the decision to seek in-patient treatment. This is a particularly sensitive time for him and his family. They ask for privacy and respect until he is ready to speak more on this matter.”
June 31st:
Jax posted a photo of him and his three-year-old son, Cruz, to his Instagram page with a low-key shady caption. He wrote, “Trying to get better for you, buddy. Daddy loves you so much.” Jax proceeded to tag his 3-year-old’s Instagram account in the message. Nowhere in Jax’s post was mention of his wife/baby mama, Brittany Cartwright.
The rehab allegation:
Ok. This was an anonymous tip to Crazy Days and Nights, so take this with a grain of salt. Allegedly, “This multiple time reality star can call it whatever he wants, but it is rehab for drug and booze addiction.”
Bravo TV fans react to Jax going to “rehab”:
- Well, at least he’s getting help.
- Don’t forget sex addiction. That seemed to play a particular role in the demise of his relationships.
- Looks like Pete Davidson is joining him. Together, I’m sure they will “cook up” some interesting schemes.
- he needs a time machine to fix what’s wrong with him, no rehab is going to help that kind of narcissism
My unsolicited opinion:
Being a day one Vanderpump Rules girlie, I believe Jax very intentionally concocted his statement. While the term “mental health” was used in the opening sentence, the type of “inpatient treatment” is not specified. Also, “drug and alcohol abuse” is considered a mental health issue, so Jax is going to die on the hill with these loopholes when defending why he wasn’t more transparent in the first place.
