It’s already been one year since Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky announced their separation.
The couple was married for 27 years, which is a major accomplishment. However, it was clear during Season 13 of the show that Kyle wasn’t happy anymore. Of course, she kept the reasons secret, other than cryptically alluding to Mauricio doing something that made her lose “trust” in him.
For a while, the couple continued to share one home. But Mauricio moved out and seemingly moved on. Now the ball is in Kyle’s court.
Kyle Richards allegedly doesn’t want to reconcile with Mauricio Umansky
Although co-parenting their 16-year-old daughter Portia Umansky with Mauricio had been going smoothly, Kyle may have been rocked by seeing her estranged husband locking lips with another woman. Mauricio has been photographed kissing actress and model Nikita Kahn. She swooped into the airport in Mykonos to pick him up, and they embraced and kissed.
The supposed couple was also spotted on a beach in Mykonos, packing on the PDA in their cabana. Shortly after news of Mauricio’s possible new girlfriend broke, Kyle removed the word “wife” from her Instagram bio. That would seem to indicate that Kyle wasn’t thrilled to hear about Mauricio’s new love interest.
“Kyle doesn’t let it bother her, but it of course stings a little hearing about Maurio with someone new. It’s never easy, but she maintains a positive attitude,” an insider told US Weekly.
The source also stated that the RHOBH stars have a “don’t ask, don’t tell” situation in their relationship at this moment. This boundary is “working for them to maintain peace within the family,” the insider added. That doesn’t seem to track with Kyle deleting her “wife” title from her Instagram. But it sounds like it may be signaling that the couple is inching closer to filing for divorce.
“They are still getting their ducks in a row for the divorce. There are no plans to reconcile,” the source stated.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is now streaming on Peacock.
