LOVE Island winner Mimii Ngulube was given a hero’s welcome as she arrived back home with partner Josh Oyinsan.
The duo – who went exclusive during their time in the ITV2 villa – made history as the first all-black couple to scoop the £50K prize in Love Island’s history.
Mental health nurse Mimii, 24, arrived back on home turf to be greeted by a huge marble plaque emblazoned with the words: “Welcome home Mimii.”
The panel was surrounded by a host of balloons in lilac, white and pink shades as well as bunches of pastel-coloured flowers.
A video posted to Instagram zoomed in on the blooms perched on a series of cabinets.
Event planner Infinite Events wrote in the caption: “Welcome Home Mimii!
“Beautiful decor for the lovely Love Island Winner.”
The duo looked more loved up than ever as they shared a kiss on their arrival at Stanstead Airport this week.
OG star Mimii and Josh – who entered the villa as a bombshell – proved runaway winners after Love Island released the exact voting stats from Monday’s final.
A day after the explosive action aired, ITV shared the breakdown of support for last night’s four final couples.
In total Mimii and Josh received 41% of the vote with Ciaran and Nicole taking 35% – showing the result wasn’t a close call.
Matilda and Sean came third with 14% and Jess and Ayo placed fourth with 10% of the vote.

During the live final, Mimii cried and told presenter Maya Jama: “I wasn’t expecting this.”
She added how she felt “over stimulated, overwhelmed, grateful.”
Josh said he had tunnel vision for Mimii when he entered the villa two weeks ago, telling Maya during their exit interview: “I told her when I met her, she surprised me, everything I expected her to be, she was and more.
“So I didn’t need to make other connections.”
Fans then claimed to work out the “real reason” the pair had won.
