Injuries are always the most unfortunate part of the NFL offseason. For the New Orleans Saints, one position has dealt with more ailments than others so far this offseason.
Training camp has been difficult for the wide receiver position on the Saints roster.
Saints dealing with multiple injuries at WR
A handful of receivers, including one starter, has missed time due to injury during this year’s training camp practices.
The most notable injury at WR is to Rashid Shaheed. He suffered a hamstring injury last week and has not returned to the field. A few depth players at the positions are dealing with minor injuries, too. None are believed to be too significant as of yet, but reps at this time of the year are important.
One drafted rookie and one UDFA are currently missing time due to injury. A veteran got banged up on Thursday afternoon, too.
