HBO Releases first teaser for “The Last of Us” season 2

The first season of The Last of Us was a major success for HBO, receiving high viewership numbers and winning eight Emmy awards.

HBO has released a 24-second teaser for the next season of The Last of Us, providing the first glimpse of footage from the highly anticipated second season.

The second season will introduce new characters from the video game The Last of Us Part II, including Abby (played by Kaitlyn Dever), Dina (played by Isabela Merced), and Isaac (played by Jeffrey Wright).

The teaser features new footage, including a snow scene with Abby being chased, and a conversation between Joel and a new character played by Catherine O’Hara.

Returning cast members include Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, and Rutina Wesley.

Filming for The Last of Us Season 2 is ongoing in Vancouver, Canada. It faced delays due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes but was resumed and is nearing completion.
