Boeing will join Alex Loh’s coaching staff in the Knight Monsters’ inaugural season. Boeing’s first coaching job was with the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the USHL where he worked as a volunteer assistant coach.
Though Boeing’s coaching resume is small, his playing career wasn’t. He played with Shattuck St. Mary’s before playing with the Dubuque Fighting Saints and both Michigan Tech and UMass of the NCAA. After his junior career finished he went on to play 164 games in the ECHL where he scored 38 goals and 87 points.
The 29-year-old spoke about his excitement to begin the next chapter of his career.
“I am really grateful for the opportunity to join the Tahoe Knight Monsters organization,” said Boeing. “I’m excited to work under Alex (Loh) and to be able to learn from him and assist in building a winning culture. I want to thank Alex and the Tahoe Knight Monsters organization for giving me this opportunity. I am really looking forward to getting to Tahoe for the inaugural season.”
The Barrington, Illinois native will look to help Loh and the rest of the coaching staff transition smoothly into the ECHL and find some early success.
