Season 29 of The Bachelor won’t air until next year. But one Bachelorette fan made a very convincing case that it should be Grant Ellis if Jenn Tran doesn’t choose him. Keep reading to find out what makes Grant stand out.
Meet Bachelorette Contestant Grant Ellis
Grant Ellis was one of the first few contestants to meet Jenn Tran on Season 21 of The Bachelorette. He adorably beat boxed as he exited the limo and made a joke about changing her name to “Mrs. Ellis” by the end of the season.
His introduction package gave viewers more insight into Grant’s history. The New Jersey native’s first love was basketball and he even played pro overseas.
Unfortunately, an injury derailed his basketball career, but he had a backup plan. The 30-year-old switched his focus to the finance industry. He’s now a day trader and lives in Houston, Texas.
Grant has been chilling in the background while Devin Strader, Sam McKinney and the other men argue. But he finally took the spotlight on the most recent episode.
Grant Ellis was one of the recipients of a one-on-one date on the recent Bachelorette episode. Jenn Tran took him on a romantic adventure riding horses on the beach in New Zealand. Jenn worried before the date because her relationship with Grant wasn’t as far long as some of the others.
But he quickly put her at ease and the couple enjoyed a day of bonding, horses and a little kissing. Not even a rain shower could damper their date, as they cuddled together under an umbrella.
Devoted Fan Wants Him As Next Bachelor
The Bachelorette suitor vulnerably opened up about his troubled childhood and his father’s addiction. In turn, Jenn Tran told him about a “toxic ex” who, among other things, claimed racism wasn’t real. The date ends with Jenn giving Grant a rose, which didn’t sit well with the other guys, but he’s safe for at least another week.
One fan took to Reddit to gush over Grant’s behavior so far in Season 21.
“He is one of the few men who legit genuinely sounds like he is saying he is falling in love with Jenn because he GENUINELY truly feels like and not because a producer nudged him to.”
The fan added that Grant “openly and proudly” talked about his feelings for Jenn Tran in front of the other men.
“I think he’s so genuine and 100% not there to be famous or cause drama like he’s so neutral and chill,” the fan concluded, before suggested Grant Ellis as the next Bachelor.
What Other Fans Think
There has been a lot of talk that most of Jenn Tran’s men are on the show for clout or to be on Bachelor In Paradise. One Bachelor Nation fan compared the differences between Grant and another contestant. “Aaron just came to this season to be invited to Bachelor Paradise.”
Most fans agreed that Grant Ellis would be a great choice for Bachelor. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
