This former Buffalo Sabres star used the Stanley Cup in a rather unique way while golfing.
Former Buffalo Sabres forward Sam Reinhart had his day with the Stanley Cup, and he certainly earned it. The 2014 second-overall pick played a big role in the Florida Panthers’ Stanley Cup win, as he posted 10 goals and 16 points in 24 playoff games. He also scored the Stanley Cup-winning goal in Game 7.
After helping the Panthers win the Stanley Cup, Reinhart celebrated his day in a unique way earlier this week. The star winger not only brought the Stanley Cup to play golf with him but also humorously used it as a ball marker, which is simply outstanding.
Reinhart did not only play golf with the Stanley Cup, as he first brought it to Hollyburn Country Club, where he first learned to skate. While there, he had the opportunity to share it with his old coaches and fans.
Nevertheless, it sure sounds like Reinhart had a great day back in his hometown with the Stanley Cup.
