Everything the Kardashian-Jenners have said about plastic surgery

Few families in Hollywood have been as scrutinized for their physical transformations as the Kardashian-Jenners.

Both on social media and in interviews with the press, Kim, Khloé, Kylie, Kourtney, Kris and Kendall have faced endless questions about whether or not they’ve undergone plastic surgery — and in some cases, they’ve come under fire for denying certain procedures.

From Kylie Jenner’s breast augmentation to Khloé Kardashian’s nose job, we’re taking a look back at all of the “Kardashians” stars’ comments on going under the knife (so far).

Kim Kardashian

Kim has come a long way since her first brush with Botox during a 2010 episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

The reality star wrote on her now-defunct blog that she “freaked out” over facial bruising following the injections.

“I’m feeling like my eyes are on fire,” she exclaimed in the episode. “What if he hit a nerve? Seriously, I know this is not normal. What I am feeling is not normal.”

However, she’s since admitted to having “a little bit of Botox” (but “no filler”) in her face during a 2022 Allure interview and getting Botox injections in her neck on a 2023 episode of “The Kardashians.”

In the episode, the Skims founder told a voice coach that she couldn’t use her neck muscles to sing because “half of mine are probably Botoxed.”

As for other procedures, the mom of four has denied getting a nose job or butt implants, even having her famous derrière X-rayed during a 2018 episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” to prove the latter.

Kim has been open about her love of non-invasive treatments, including Morpheus8 to “tighten [her] stomach” and “vampire” and salmon sperm facials.

At the end of the day, Kim said it’s about balance.

“I always want to look appropriate,” she told Allure in 2022. “There does come a point when you’ve taken it too far — overfilled, too tight, too much cosmetic work. There’s nothing worse.”

However, that doesn’t mean she won’t go to extreme lengths to look youthful.

“I’ll try anything,” she told the New York Times in 2022. “If you told me that I literally had to eat poop every single day and I would look younger, I might. I just might.”

The youngest Jenner sister has completely transformed her look since first gracing our TV screens — and not just with all those colorful wigs.

After years of denying she’d had anything done, Kylie finally admitted to getting lip filler in 2015.

“I have temporary lip fillers. It’s just an insecurity of mine and it’s what I wanted to do,” the then-17-year-old said in a 2015 episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” finally ending the speculation around her plump pout.

In the same episode, Kylie’s seen telling a reporter that the secret to her full lips is mixing different lipstick shades.

“I’m just not ready to talk to reporters about my lips yet,” the Kylie Cosmetics founder said in a confessional during the show, adding, “I want to admit to the lips but people are so quick to judge me.”

She also chatted about going under the knife on her now-defunct website in 2015, noting that she was “not against plastic surgery” but was sticking with lip fillers for the time being.

“If, down the line, I get to a point where I’m really uncomfortable with something on my body, I’m not against changing it,” the reality star added at the time.

After telling the Evening Standard in 2018 that she “probably wouldn’t do anything” to her body, Kylie clarified what she had and hadn’t done in a Paper magazine interview the following year.

“People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false. They don’t understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do,” she said. “It’s fillers. I’m not denying that.”

She doubled down in 2023, telling Homme Girls, “I think a big misconception about me is that I’ve had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn’t! … I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I don’t regret it. But I always thought I was cute.”

In a 2023 episode of “The Kardashians,” however, Kylie admitted she’d undergone a breast augmentation before becoming pregnant with her daughter, Stormi, in 2017.

“I had beautiful breasts. Natural tits. Just gorgeous. Perfect size, perfect everything. And I just wish, obviously, I never got them done to begin with,” she shared.

Kylie also said she’d be “heartbroken” if Stormi “wanted to get her body done at 19.”

Khloé Kardashian

Khloé revealed she’s had a nose job during the 2021 “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” reunion.

“Everybody says, ‘Oh, my gosh, she’s had her third face transplant!’ But I’ve had one nose job,” she told host Andy Cohen during the show.

“Everybody gets so upset, like, why don’t I talk about it? Nobody’s ever asked me. You’re the first person in an interview that’s ever asked me about my nose,” the Good American founder continued.

Khloé went on to tell Robin Roberts that her only regret was not going under the knife sooner during “The Kardashians: An ABC News Special.”

“My whole life I would say — I’ve always wanted my nose done, forever,” the mom of two shared. “But it’s in the middle of your face and it’s scary to think about. But I finally got the courage, and I did it, and I love it.”

When it comes to other procedures, Khloé also said she’s used “injections — not really Botox” during the 2021 “KUWK” reunion, explaining, “I’ve responded poorly to Botox.”

And she referenced getting filler during a 2023 episode of “The Kardashians,” sharing in a confessional that she’d been picked apart for not having the same glamorous appearance as older sisters Kim and Kourtney.

“You get better makeup, you do fillers, you do whatever — I had a nose job,” Khloé said during the episode, adding, “And there’s still people constantly bullying you.”

One such comment came when a social media user compared her to “an alien” and getting “too much plastic surgery” in a commercial for prescription migraine drug Nurtec.

Khloé fired back at the commenter, referring to their Twitter bio and writing, “I don’t think you should refer to yourself as a feminist if you are attacking a woman unprovoked.”

Like Kim, Khloé has also been accused of getting butt implants, replying to one person’s Instagram comment in 2022 by writing, “lol silly goose. It’s the seam design of the leggings. that’s so funny ha! You guys just want to believe anything bad.”

Kourtney Kardashian

Eldest sister Kourtney has similarly spoken out about her experience with plastic surgery — and her regrets.

The Poosh founder said she got her “boobs done” when she was 22, telling Showbiz Spy (via the Mirror), “If I could go back, I wouldn’t have done it. I was so cute before.”

“I’ve realized that I was made to look a certain way and I’m considering removing them,” Kourtney added during the 2011 interview.

She’s never confirmed any other procedures, but did clap back at one Instagram comment accusing her of getting “plenty of plastic surgery” in 2021.

“No better compliment than a too good to be real kind of compliment,” the Lemme founder replied, adding, “Butt shot and brazilian butt lift, um, thanks. And you were just getting started.”

Kris Jenner

Momager Kris Jenner has gone under the knife on numerous occasions and isn’t afraid to talk about it — or document her procedures on TV.

She had a breast augmentation in the 1980s “after four kids” — as she told E!’s “Good Work” in 2015 — but later revised the procedure, opting for “smaller” implants and a “lift.”

“It was great for about 25 years, or 30, whatever it was, and then a couple years ago, I felt like they were too big,” the mom of six revealed during the interview.

Kris continued that she “felt matronly and nothing fit anymore,” so she went to the “same doctor who put them in” to get a more natural look.

Kris has also documented her facelift on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” and has undergone laser procedures and an earlobe reduction, which was also highlighted on the reality show.

One thing she hasn’t done is her nose, telling “Good Work” she “was born with it.”

“They say that about all my kids — we haven’t had our noses done,” Kris added at the time.

And while the reality star might not have had a rhinoplasty, she admitted to getting “Botox and fillers and lasers and things like that.”

In fact, Kris is so fond of injectables that she once told People she was giving friends and family — including her mother, MJ — Botox gift cards for Christmas.

“If you’re responsible, and you talk to your doctor, I think it works,” she said in the 2019 interview. “It’s something that I’ve been using for a long time.”

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner is the one family member who has never confirmed getting any kind of plastic surgery, and has outright denied it on several occasions.

The then-18-year-old shut down nose job rumors during a 2014 interview with “Extra,” saying, “Come on now, people.”

The runway model laughed off the question, noting that “makeup does wonders” and adding, “Honestly, people can make something up and really make other people believe it, and there’s not much you can do about it.”

In 2017, she took to Instagram Live to slam rumors that she’d taken time off after going under the knife, asking, “As a model, why would I have my face reconstructed? It doesn’t even make sense.”
