Disgraced Thomas Ravenel calls ‘horrific’ ex Kathryn Dennis the ‘worst person in the world’
Tell us how you really feel, Thomas Ravenel!
The “Southern Charm” alum ripped into his ex-girlfriend Kathryn Dennis, with whom he shares two kids, after her former co-stars gushed over her during BravoCon 2023.
“The worst person in the world I know is Kathryn Dennis and the total losers who make excuses and applaud her horrific behavior like Craig [Conover] and Shep [Rose] and Austen [Kroll]. Total losers,” Ravenel, 61, tweeted Tuesday.
When someone asked the disgraced ex-politician — who once served time in prison for cocaine-related charges — why he “pick[ed] her to be the mother of [his] children,” he replied, “Damn good question! You got me there!”
He also alleged that Conover and Rose are “out late with her doing drugs,” adding, “Not positive about Austen but can swear my life to the other two.”
Ravenel’s outburst comes on the heels of Conover praising Dennis — who announced her departure from “Southern Charm” in January after almost a decade on the reality show — over the weekend in Las Vegas.
During his cast’s panel, the Sewing Down South founder, 34, said he “would love for her to come back” and revealed that he and Rose, 43, “actually filmed with her this year.”
Conover cautioned that fans “probably won’t” see the footage given that production “did it as a favor to” them.
However, he noted that Kroll, 36, “talks to her as much as he can,” as do other members of the cast.
“I think the door is always open,” Conover said with optimism. “I think she’s working on herself and has a lot of work that she has to do before she comes back, but I hope she’s doing well.”
When a Twitter user asked Ravenel what Dennis had “done this time” to evoke such a “tangent,” he responded, “She was involved in a hit and run at an elementary school crossing. Anymore [sic] questions???”
As Page Six previously reported, Dennis’ car was involved in a hit-and-run at Whitesville Elementary School in Moncks Corner, S.C., during which a 2022 Ford SUV registered in her name struck a Berkeley County deputy who was directing traffic.
A South Carolina Highway Patrol spokesperson said the incident occurred on Oct. 20 around 7 a.m. local time and that the injured school resource officer received medical attention for non-life-threatening injuries.
Per SCHP, the vehicle “did not stop at the scene of the collision” and was later located at Dennis’ address.
The department has not yet revealed who was driving the car, and Dennis, 32, never responded to our request for comment.
When Page Six caught up with the once-Bravolebrity in July, she spoke about her historically contentious relationship with Ravenel, insisting the two were “doing what works” for them and that things were “going well.”
“My kids are happy, and I’m confident in myself as a mom,” she told us of her 9-year-old daughter, Kensington “Kensie,” and her 7-year-old son, St. Julien “Saint.”
“I’m just gonna keep pushing forward and setting the best example I can for my kids and inspiring them as they slowly learn more and more about me.”
However, according to Ravenel, he recently “asked them if they wanted to go live with her and they immediately started bawling and crying ‘please no.’” He claimed in another tweet that Dennis “can’t see them without a paid supervisor and she refuses to pay one therefore she NEVER sees them.”
Dennis, Conover, Rose, and Kroll did not immediately respond to our requests for comment.
Dennis’ tenure on “Southern Charm” documented her two pregnancies, alleged substance abuse issues and subsequent custody battle with Ravenel, who was axed from the series in 2018 following a series of assault allegations.
