Love is certainly in the air for Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo, but will wedding bells soon be ringing for the pair?
The twosome, who began dating in the fall of 2021 after several years of friendship, have talked about taking the next step in their relationship on both Southern Charm and Summer House. While Paige and Craig have yet to move in together or decide whether they will live in New York City or Charleston full-time, the Charm-er revealed that an engagement could be in their imminent future.
On the January 18 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Craig revealed a surprising update on his proposal timeline, and he shared why there’s too much “outside pressure” in their relationship.
When does Craig Conover plan to propose to Paige DeSorbo?
Though Craig and Paige have yet to determine which city will become their home base, the two are set on being together for the long haul. The duo briefly contemplated eloping in Las Vegas during BravoCon 2023, but Craig noted that he wanted something “more real.”
Instead of jumping ahead and tying the knot, Craig is now considering when he will propose to Paige. As Craig said on WWHL, he plans to propose before the couple reaches the next milestone in their relationship.
“So, September [2024] will be three years,” he said about their next dating anniversary. “I think between two and three years is an appropriate time to get engaged.”
Andy then tried to clarify if that meant that Craig would be popping the question before the their three-year anniversary.
“I guess — yeah, we’re gonna go with that,” Craig said.
Andy reminded Craig that he had teased a proposal on WWHL in the past (in case you need a refresher, he said back in November 2022 that he would be engaged by Thanksgiving 2023).
Craig joked, “That’s why [the comments] don’t mean anything.”
However, he added that “hopefully” this timeline would be correct.
Craig Conover on the “Pressure” He Feels in His Relationship with Paige DeSorbo
Earlier on in the episode, Andy read out a fan question about why there seems to be a particular “pressure” on Paige to move to Charleston, instead of Craig relocating to New York.
“I think there’s a lot of outside pressure put on, and I agree with that statement,” Craig said, acknowledging that Paige gets more of it than he does. “I have no idea what we’re gonna do, but I think it should be equal pressure.”
Fans will have to stay tuned to find out what exactly is next for Paige and Craig in their relationship, but, in the meantime, they can stream Southern Charm on Peacock.
