The Last of Us Part 2 fan Safe-Hope-172 shared a look at the impressive shadowbox schematic they made for a broken PS4 controller. In The Last of Us Part 1 and Part 2, the Cordyceps brain infection was caused by parasitic fungi, resulting in the mutation of victims into clickers and other infected monsters. Using a broken PlayStation 4 controller and building upon the Cordyceps fungi premise, Safe-Hope-172 created a stunning The Last of Us Part 2 shadowbox. The gorgeous piece features a 2D-3D schematic of the controller, showing its disassembled parts overgrown with artificial moss, fungi, and flora. References to the graffiti in the game are painted on the back of the shadowbox, along with distressing to make the artistic creation look as though it was pulled straight from the post-apocalyptic world of The Last of Us Part 2.
