Domi also recently created an Instagram account for his new kitten, Hugh, his third pet.
Max Domi has once again shared a post on social media that’s got many Maple Leafs fans talking.
The 29-year-old has taken to social media several times this summer to share what he’s gotten up to during the offseason. The posts come after signing a four-year, $15 million contract with Toronto on July 1.
The Toronto-born native has shared photos of him on vacation in Italy, training on and off the ice, and in his latest post, Domi says he’s not taking this time with the Maple Leafs for granted.
“Don’t blink,” he wrote in the TikTok caption.” Cherishing every moment along the way ⏳💙💙💙”
The TikTok shows two photos of Domi, one of him as a four-year-old with his thumbs up while wearing a Maple Leafs jersey, and another of the forward celebrating on the ice at Scotiabank Arena after a goal was scored.
All while the song ‘Forever Young’ by Alphaville plays in the background.
Domi is coming off one of his best seasons in the NHL. Although the forward didn’t reach double digits in goals, he did have 38 assists — the second-highest season total of his career — which tied him for fourth on Toronto alongside Auston Matthews.
He also scored one goal and three assists against the Boston Bruins in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs in May, which tied him for the team lead in points, alongside Matthews again, plus now-former Maple Leafs forward Tyler Bertuzzi.
With Domi sharing several inspirational training posts, it’s showing that the forward is ready for a massive year with the Maple Leafs.
