We hate to go all busch league on you and say we told you so. No… That isn’t true. We actually love saying we told you so, even if we don’t do so that often. We told you Jalen Hurts’ second-round selection would make the doubters eat their words. We knew he was mentally tougher than Carson Wentz and had the tools to be just as good if not better.
Fast forward to the present. At the time of this story’s release, Jalen is in another tax bracket. Carson is beginning a new journey on his fourth team in as many seasons. While Wentz’s fall from grace did catch us off guard somewhat we will say, even though we backed Jalen from jump, we truly never thought he’d reach these heights.
Don’t look now, but Jalen Hurts isn’t just the face of the Eagles.
Maybe we’re biased because we love football more than any other game, but there may not be any other position in sports that’s harder to play. No disrespect is intended to all of you pitchers out there.
Even the most casual fan probably knows who the starting quarterback is on his or her favorite football team. They receive more credit and blame than they deserve, but if they’re good at what they do, look out!
Jalen Hurts has taken an MVP-level campaign deep into the two most recent NFL seasons. Year four as the starter should produce more fireworks, but it appears he is already on fire.
If you haven’t caught a glimpse yet, QB1 of the Philadelphia Eagles is the star of one hot promo for the 2028 Olmpic Games. Check out the clip if you haven’t seen it. Then, check out the behind-the-scenes footage.
They’re often called ‘the face of the franchise’. Jalen has become one of the faces of the NFL. An Olympic drop is something else though, especially seeing as how our brand of football (or, in this case, flag football isn’t a game most of the world plays).
