The award for most unnecessary menu addition to an NFL stadium in 2024 goes to the Arizona Cardinals.
The team revealed a sickening dessert option available at home games this season, and it should probably come with a warning label. (We’re open to suggestions, but “Do Not Buy” sounds like a good one.)

This monstrosity, a cotton candy burrito, was revealed on Tuesday and features ice cream — with topping options including Froot Loops, colored sprinkles and M&M’s — inside a cotton candy wrap.
That sugar rush might be stronger than the Cardinals’ pass rush.
Arizona ranked 30th in sacks (33) last season. On Aug. 2, edge-rusher B.J. Ojulari, arguably the team’s best at generating pressure, tore his ACL, which will force him to miss the 2024 season.
The Cardinals weren’t the only team to share its updated menu with fans on Tuesday. According to Colts.com contributing writer Amanda Foster, the Colts held a culinary showcase for media members and suite holders.
Their most curious addition was an option for S’mores-style “load-in” French fries. Fortunately, no offensive lineman was harmed in the making of the product.

WBAL-TV’s Kayla Morton wrote on Monday about menu offerings at the Ravens’ M&T Bank Stadium, which include an adorable crab-shaped crab pretzel and crab dip, pictured on the bottom right in the social media post below from WBAL’s Kim Dacey.

However, the winner of the 2024 NFL stadium food wars is the Falcons, which still haven’t increased prices since moving into Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2017.
ESPN’s Marc Raimondi recently shared a photo that went viral of the amount of food fans can purchase at the stadium for $20, which includes a large slice of pizza, chicken tenders and fries, nachos, a pretzel, hot dog, popcorn and a drink

The Cardinals should take note. Fans aren’t looking to turn their stadium trip into a hospital visit. We’d much prefer cheap food.
