The Bengals defensive end will miss the 2024 season with a torn Achilles.
The 2024 NFL season is just around the corner with the Cincinnati Bengals’ first preseason game on Saturday.
It has been a solid training camp for the Bengals, but the team did lose a key depth piece on the defensive side of the football.
Cam Sample will miss the 2024 season after suffering a torn Achilles earlier in training camp.
Since the injury, Sample has had successful surgery to repair the tendon and afterward had a nice message for Who Dey Nation.

The Bengals have quite a bit of talent at the defensive end position, starting with Trey Hendrickson, but losing Sample was a tough blow to the position’s depth.
Myles Murphy and Joseph Ossai are two names that need to have big years in Cincinnati and produce successful numbers off the edge.
In the meantime, we all wish Sample a speedy recovery from the injury and look forward to seeing him back on the few in the future.
