Cam Jordan scares Saints fans with cryptic late-night tweet

The New Orleans Saints are working hard in training camp, but veteran Cam Jordan recently scared fans by sending out a tweet that left fans thinking.

It’s actually football time for the NFL. All teams are weeks deep into training camp, and the Chicago Bears and Houston Texans recently played in the Hall of Fame game. Soon, all other NFL teams will start their preseason games, and the league will be one step closer to the regular season.

At this time of the year, everything is under a microscope. Fans are closely watching training camp reports, social media activity, and anything else that could provide insight on the state of a team. That’s why New Orleans Saints fans quickly took note of a mysterious tweet from Cam Jordan.

On Thursday evening, 8:28 pm New Orleans time to be specific, the veteran defensive end tweeted, “Life lesson- Don’t ever Think it can’t happen to you.” Naturally, fans were worried as they tried to figure out what it meant.

Many people assumed the worst, in terms of the team, thinking that maybe Jordan was being cut or traded by the Saints. As fans explained this in his mentions, Jordan put everyone at ease, letting them know he was just doing some late-night reflecting. As far as the team, the star defensive end made it clear that everything is good and he’s focused on winning a Super Bowl.

Cam Jordan has his sights set on a Super Bowl in year 14 with Saints

Jordan has been with New Orleans his entire career, and he’s definitely not going anywhere now. As he prepares for his 14th season in the league, the veteran defensive end has achieved nearly everything there is to claim in an NFL career. He’s made eight Pro Bowls, three All-Pro teams, multiple playoff runs, and even received votes for Defensive Player of the Year.

What Jordan doesn’t have is the thing he wants the most: a Super Bowl win. He recently explained in detail how he and his father, former Minnesota Viking and six-time Pro Bowl tight end Steve Jordan, have both been blessed with long and successful careers, but neither have been able to win a Super Bowl.

Knowing he doesn’t have much time left in his career, that’s all Jordan is focused on. He’s been trying to instill his sense of urgency into his younger teammates, since he has to rely on them for the Saints to win it all. While no one believes the team will be able to do it, New Orleans will be out to prove that it can.
