There’s a feud brewing in Bachelor Nation, and for once, it doesn’t involve the women or Nick Viall, who seems to always be feuding with someone. Instead, it involves two unexpected alums – Bryan Abasolo and Kevin Wendt. Keep reading to find out what’s going on.
Rachel Lindsay Forced To Cough Up Big Money To Ex
Bryan Abasolo was a contestant on Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette. The two fell in love and got married two years after the show. However, he revealed in January 2024 that the marriage was over by suddenly filing for divorce. He listed the date of separation as New Year’s Eve and cited irreconcilable differences as the cause.
The two have been battling it out in court and the recent rulings from the judge didn’t find in Rachel Lindsay’s favor. She’s been ordered to pay her ex 13k a month in spousal support. Apparently, at least part of the money will go to Bryan Abasolo’s divorce coach.
A recent post on the reality star’s Instagram was a joint post with self-proclaimed divorce coach Rene Garcia, who goes by @renesance_man on social media. The post promoted an upcoming interview with Rachel Lindsay’s ex on the divorce coach’s YouTube channel.
Bryan Abasolo’s followers immediately called him out for partnering with Garcia. One follower wrote, “This ‘renaissance man’s’ website is full of misogynistic statements and backs toxicity.“
Bachelor In Paradise alum Kevin Wendt weighed in, calling the post “cringe.” But Bryan Absolo didn’t take the criticism from Wendt lightly. He hit back, implying that Kevin Wendt was forced to take Rachel Lindsay’s side by his wife.
Bryan Abasolo Hits Back At Kevin Wendt After Diss
Kevin Wendt and Astrid Loch met on Season 5 of Bachelor In Paradise. They broke up before the end of the season but reunited and eventually married and started a family.
Loch was a contestant on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelorette along with Rachel Lindsay. The two remained good friends after the season was over.
In a terse response to Kevin Wendt, Bryan Abasolo seemed to hint that Astrid Loch Wendt was behind her husband calling him out.
“This could have been a DM Kevin. All good though, I know the pressure you are under to do so.“
Bryan Abasolo added that he believes in the services provided by his divorce coach. He suggested Kevin Wendt watch the interview and come back later to apologize.
