After separating from husband and The Valley cast member, Jax Taylor, in late February, Brittany Cartwright has been open about what the future holds when it comes to dating other people.

“It’s even weird to think about dating,” Brittany told Us Weekly. “But I need someone who has their stuff together, who is confident and respectful, and makes me laugh. It’s going to be difficult because I am so in the public eye.”
During a trip to New York earlier this month, Brittany appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and met up with Summer House’s Carl Radke. As it just so happens, Carl is single after splitting from ex-fiancé, Lindsay Hubbard last year, is used to being in the public eye, and is pretty funny. But don’t hold your breath for the potential couple just yet.
During her trip to NYC, Brittany went to watch Vanderpump Rules’ Ariana Madix perform in the Broadway musical, Chicago. It was there where she met up with Carl and they snapped a picture with Ariana and friends backstage. But, after Jax implored more about their friendship during an April 11 episode of their podcast, When Reality Hits with Brittany and Jax, Brittany insisted that nothing happened between them.
“There’s a rumor that you guys had some kind of like, flirtatious thing going on,” Jax said.
Here’s what you may have missed on Bravo:
“We said maybe five words to each other!” Brittany replied. “That’s hilarious!”
Jax told Brittany that he wasn’t jealous after he heard the rumors because he “knows Carl pretty well.” “I laughed it off when I heard it,” he said.
Rest assured, nothing happened between them. “He was nice to me, I was nice to him,” Brittany said. “We said maybe five words to each other at the show….He was very nice, but no.”
Brittany Cartwright on whether she’s ready to date again
Brittany did recently say that she would be open to seeing what is out there in terms of dating. During an appearance on the Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast earlier this month, Brittany revealed that she is open to meeting new people.
“I’m down to like, hang out with somebody,” she said. “I think a separation is all about, like, figuring out what you want in your future.”
