Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice could be signing up to a huge show following his dramatic exit from the BBC ballroom, according to the latest odds
Giovanni Pernice could be signing up to a huge ITV show after being axed from Strictly.
The 33-year-old dancer has faced claims against his alleged teaching methods on the BBC show. He has denied allegations of “abusive or threatening” behaviour towards his female dancer partners on the show and has vowed to clear his name.
Giovanni has now left Strictly following reports of an internal ‘bullying’ probe being conducted by the BBC. However, the bookies are confident that he’ll be heading into the Jungle for a stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
Ladbrokes have it at just 3/1 that the axed Strictly star “swaps sequins for snakes” later and joins the line-up later in the year. Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “With Giovanni’s diary now wide open for the remainder of the year the odds firmly suggest we’ll be seeing him back on our screens as an I’m A Celeb campmate.”

Giovanni, who was partnered with Amanda Abbington on the latest series, previously took to Instagram to break his silence on the claims being made against him. It came following reports that Amanda, who left the show early, had complained about his conduct.

He wrote: “To my fans and followers, every week, there are totally untrue stories about me in the media. As you know, I have always rejected any suggestion of abusive or threatening behaviour.
Following his controversial exit from Strictly Come Dancing, Giovanni Pernice could potentially be making a comeback on a different TV show. Despite denying allegations of inappropriate behavior on the BBC show, the 33-year-old dancer has parted ways with Strictly and is now rumored to be joining the cast of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
Bookies are already placing bets on Giovanni making an appearance in the jungle, with Ladbrokes offering odds of 3/1. This move wouldn’t be unprecedented, as other Strictly stars have transitioned to ITV reality shows in the past. For example, Nikita Kuzmin recently participated in Celebrity Big Brother.
Although Giovanni has faced backlash and accusations from his former dance partners, he remains adamant about his innocence. Taking to social media, he reassured his fans that the media reports are unfounded and that he has always maintained a professional demeanor.
With his schedule now open for the rest of the year, all signs point to Giovanni potentially embarking on a new TV adventure. Stay tuned for more updates on his rumored appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
