Viewers have yet to find out if Jenn Tran gets engaged at the end of The Bachelorette. She shared her thoughts on a TV wedding in general without giving away how her season ended. Keep reading to find out her stance on tying the knot on camera.
Jenn Tran Talks Bachelorette Regrets
Jenn Tran continues to make television and podcast appearances to promote her season of The Bachelorette. Season 21 kicked off last month and continues airing every Monday until there’s just one man remaining.
It hasn’t been officially confirmed if Jenn Tran found love with one of her suitors and whether a proposal happened. Viewers won’t know for sure until the season finale airs.
Her promo tour took her to the set of Extra for a wide-ranging interview. Jenn Tran shared her first reaction to her ex-boyfriend flying all the way to New Zealand to ask for a second chance. But she stayed silent on how the cliffhanger resolves in the next episode. Viewers will have to watch to find out.
Her ex aside, Jenn Tran did admit that she may have had “feelings of love” for one or more of her suitors as the season progressed. She added that she had no regrets, no matter how her season ended.
“I think there can be some moments that maybe are hard to watch back because I’m letting certain things slide perhaps. But I don’t really regret anything. I think the way everything plays out, it’s going to be a very meaningful story.”
Shares Thoughts On TV Weddings
The Bachelor franchise has hosted a few television weddings since it debuted in 2002, some more successful than others. The first-ever Bachelorette, Trista Sutter, is still married to Ryan Sutter twenty years after their TV wedding.
On the other hand, Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum divorced after nearly eight years of marriage after meeting on Season 7 of The Bachelorette.
However, viewers have soured on TV weddings after the fiasco earlier this year between Golden Bachelor couple Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist. Millions watched them tie the knot on ABC in January 2024 only to announce three months later that they were divorcing.
Assuming she gets engaged at the end of Season 21, would Jenn Tran consider a TV wedding it the network asked? Without spilling any secrets, she said that a decision like that requires two people. She said she personally would prefer a small wedding, but is open to larger, televised festivities.
“I don’t know. Weddings, I think, include two people to make that decision, so I think for me, I’m not sure. But personally like small weddings, and I think I would want, you know, just me, my family, my friends, and that’s kind of all I’ve ever wanted. So I haven’t thought about it before, I don’t know.”
