Daisy Kent to the defense.
The “Bachelor” alum is speaking out in support of Season 28 lead Joey Graziadei and his fiancée, Kelsey Anderson, after he revealed they were living with friends.
“It’s something normal you would do, you know what I mean? You had this huge life change. Obviously, they’re making their relationship work, they’re going to move in with each other,” Kent, 25, tells Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” while promoting her partnership with Daisy Cottage Cheese.
“So I feel like, yeah, it’s just how life goes. I love how genuine and open they are,” she continues, emphasizing that she enjoys when her own roommates spend time with boyfriend Thor Herbst.
“I love when my boyfriend hangs out with my roommates,” Kent notes. “So I’m sure it’s great.”
Back in June, Graziadei candidly shared on Jason Tartick’s “Trading Secrets” podcast that he had to shack up with Anderson and her roommates after his credit score tanked during production for ABC’s long-running dating competition series.
“[My credit score] was at 730 and I went on the show and I had a payment from a credit card that I didn’t answer for two and a half months,” he said at the time. “I dropped, like, 80 points. Like, what the f–k?”
Graziadei, 29, went on to lament that he “[couldn’t] even get into an apartment building” because of the situation.
“I went on a TV show and I come back and my credit score bombed,” he said. “Jesus Christ.”
Graziadei’s promise to offer Anderson, 26, monetary support as she had quit her job to begin their new life as an engaged couple only added pressure.
Still, the duo is going strong — and so is Kent’s friendship with Anderson, despite competing against the latter for Graziadei’s heart.
“It’s easier to stay friends than I think people think sometimes. And you’re also going through all that together and you all know what you’re getting yourself into … I’m actually going to be seeing Kelsey within the next few weeks, so I’m excited for that,” she explains.
“So I would say it’s been really positive for us. We were really friends on the show, so it’s been very easy and genuine in that way.”
After filming wrapped on her season of “The Bachelor,” Kent not only built a stronger bond with Anderson but reconnected with her beau, Herbst — whom she previously knew in college — and feels ready to take their relationship to the next level.
She tells “Virtual Reali-Tea” that she plans to move in with him in the near future.
“I would say within the next year, we’re definitely going to move in together which I’m really excited about,” she says. “But we spend so much time together, it feels like we honestly kind of live together.”
Until then, Kent is relishing in her role as an ambassador for Daisy Cottage Cheese — which she feels she “manifested” as commercials for the product aired throughout her stint on “The Bachelor.”
“I’ve [eaten] cottage cheese since I was little. It’s America’s favorite cottage cheese brand, and it has my name. So when I was little, I would always gravitate towards it,” raves the blond beauty, who created a signature Daisy Caprese recipe.
“It definitely is the best tasting [cottage cheese] too, so I’m thrilled about it.”
