Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney have been slapped with a lawsuit filed by a former chef at their new sandwich shop, Something About Her.
TMZ reports the women are facing legal action from Penny Davidi Borsuk, an executive chef who was appointed the COO/Director of Culinary of Something About Her.
Borsuk alleges Madix, 39, and Maloney, 37, have failed to follow through with their end of a business agreement they made surrounding her role at the restaurant.
People reports Borsuk has accused the duo of not honoring the stipulations of their written ‘partnership.’
Borsuk alleges she was guaranteed a 10% partnership in June 2023 if she assisted in developing and running the restaurant.

Due to this agreement, she claims she did a considerable amount of work to get the restaurant operational. This work included filing trademarks for the eatery.
Borsuk claims she was set to receive a $7,500 paycheck every month until January. In January, her compensation was set to increase to $10,000 a month.
Now, however, Borsuk claims Madix and Maloney have denied ever having such a partnership with her.
She is now hoping a judge will uphold the terms of their agreement and that she will be rightfully compensated.
Something About Her finally opened in West Hollywood in May 2024 after two years of unexpected delays.
In April Maloney revealed she and Madix were no longer working with Borsuk.
‘No, we’re not working with Penny any longer,’ she said on the Popping Off with Teddi Mellencamp and Emily Simpson podcast.
While she did not share much about the departure, she said the partnership was ultimately not the best ‘fit.’
‘You know, I mean, we loved working with Penny, and Penny was great, but ultimately it wasn’t the right fit,’ Maloney said.

An executive chef, Borsuk has also worked with Madix and Maloney’s former employer, Lisa Vanderpump.
Borsuk worked with Lisa on both Pump Lounge and Tom Tom.
On her website, she states she works as a Culinary Specialist and New Business Manager for Sysco Foods.
The new lawsuit comes after Ariana was slapped with another lawsuit – but this time one from her ex boyfriend, Tom Sandoval.

Sandoval, 40, alleges that Madix ‘obtained access’ to his phone on March 1, 2023, and looked at videos on him and Leviss, 29, without his ‘authorization or permission’ according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly.
Sandoval further claims that Madix ‘made copies’ of the video and shared it with Leviss and others without his consent.
The scandal goes back to the explosive season 9 finale of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules last year, when cameras captured Madix as she discovered explicit footage of Rachel on her then-boyfriend’s phone.
The nearly nine-year relationship between Madix and Sandoval imploded amid the scandal, and Sandoval’s subsequent romance with Leviss also ended this past May.
Madix’s attorney, Jordan Susman, responded to Sandoval’s claims in a statement on Tuesday, telling Us Weekly, ‘It is abhorrent that Tom Sandoval continues to torment Ms. Madix.’
‘From engaging in an illicit affair that shattered her home and stability, to months of emotional warfare and now this attempt to further shirk personal responsibility for the effects his actions have had on her and her emotional wellbeing.’
It comes after Rachel Leviss sued Tom and Ariana for ‘revenge porn, eavesdropping and invasion of privacy’ following last year’s Scandoval drama
‘Tom Sandoval knows full well what sort of privileges he and Ms. Madix shared in regard to their personal communication devices.’
‘If he or his mistress had their way, it would be illegal for someone to discover their spouse or significant other was having an affair. For Mr. Sandoval to go from begging Ms. Madix for forgiveness to blaming her for his wrongdoing speaks for itself,’ the statement continued.
‘Even months after the New York Times branded Mr. Sandoval “the most hated man in America,” he has clearly learned nothing and believes it necessary to continue torturing Ms. Madix in a vain effort to rehabilitate his image. Ms. Madix is confident that a jury will see through this latest ploy and dismiss his frivolous claims.’
It comes after Leviss sued Tom and Ariana for ‘revenge porn, eavesdropping and invasion of privacy’ following last year’s Scandoval drama.
