Plus, how his two little ones get through the long car ride from New York City.
Andy Cohen may be busy chatting up celebrities every night as the host of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live — but his life off camera is just as entertaining thanks to his two young kids.
Especially now as the summer has ramped up, the reality TV producer and radio show host has been splitting his time between his Manhattan and Hamptons homes — and the journey out east is just as fun as the destination thanks to how the family stays occupied for the long car ride.
‘We put on Madonna and have a dance party. They are really into it!” he told Travel + Leisure recently of how his kids Ben, 5, and Lucy, 2, handle the trip.
And once they arrive, the to-do list is set with kid-friendly activities that Cohen is happy to recommend to other parents in the area.
“You know, I think part of the thing about raising kids is a lot of it is just killing time and keeping them engaged and entertained,” he said. “The Children’s Museum in Bridgehampton is unbelievable. It’s so great. And also all of the local libraries. For anyone who has kids six and under, the Montauk Public Library, [and the public libraries in] Amagansett [and] Bridgehampton. They’re so great,” he said.

The Hamptons also has no shortage of food options for kids, Cohen adds, including Sam’s Restaurant for pizza.
“It’s a real low-key, divey kind of place, but it has great pizza [and] John’s Drive-In in Montauk is so fun for ice cream,” he said.
But for adults-only fun, you may find the Bravo guru at The Crows Nest, which he referred to as “a scene in the best possible way.”
When it comes to imbibing at home or on the beach though, Cohen opts for cocktails mixed with Fresca — his go-to mixer for years — which has naturally led to a new partnership between himself and the brand’s newest product.
With the help of Cohen, the brand launched Fresca’s ready-to-drink, vodka-based, canned cocktail, Fresca Mixed, which comes in four flavors: Watermelon, Black Cherry, Orange and Peach Citrus.
“As the no. 1 Fresca Mixed fan, I’ve been the unofficial founding member of the Fresca Mixed Club for years now and I can’t wait to let other fans in on the best-kept secret in the cocktail game,” Cohen said in the partnership’s announcement. “I hope fans are ready to join me in enjoying these exciting new flavors, as well as experiencing the fun events and perks when they join the club.”
