The New Orleans Saints offseason has been filled with intrigue.

They have a new offensive play caller in Klint Kubiak. Derek Carr impressed during OTAs. Dennis Allen is firmly on the hot seat. They added Chase Young to their defensive line and had a productive NFL Draft.
At the top of the list, they are dealing with a contract holdout from star running back Alvin Kamara. He left the Saints’ final minicamp practice early due to contract-related reasons. Kamara reportedly wants a reworked deal for more guaranteed money in the short-term.
“I’m told Kamara is open to doing a reworked two-year deal, strengthen his guarantees in year one. They’ve talked about it. So far, not a lot of momentum. We’ll see if something shakes out. On Wednesday morning, Kamara took the intrigue to the next level. Fans may actually like this update, though.

Of course, this is not a report of a new deal for the star RB. That has not been stated as of yet for the Saints Pro Bowler.
That being said, it feels like growth. Kamara probably would not have posted a picture of him smiling if he was not feeling positive in the moment.
This post follows one earlier in the month where Kamara seemingly notioned that the Saints were undervaluing him.
The sentiment that running backs are not getting what they deserve in deals has spread like wildfire in recent years, and his post backed that up.

Regardless, his latest Instagram story addition may hint at a looming contract coming for the running back. We will see if that comes to fruition in the news soon.
