Plus, the Southern Charm-er revealed he’s gearing up for “summer adventures” in Europe.
Southern Charm‘s Shep Rose is a man of many titles, including entrepreneur, business owner, Bravoleb, and now a writer once again?
Over the weekend, Shep treated his social media followers to an exciting glimpse of his latest endeavor. On June 22, he took to his Instagram Stories to share a selfie in front of his laptop, showing him working diligently as he was “writing away on this fine Saturday,” Shep wrote on the caption of his photo. “Really excited about this project. Thing it’s a good thing when you’re typing and laughing.”
Although Shep didn’t reveal any specifics about his writing project, we can’t help but speculate that a follow-up to his 2021 release, Average Expectations: Lessons in Lowering the Bar, might be on the horizon. Fingers crossed!
Shep Rose shares his upcoming summer vacation plans
Shep won’t be spending his entire summer jotting down his thoughts; the 44-year-old is also gearing up for an epic European vacation. Just hours after teasing his new project, the South Carolina native shared his upcoming travel plans after a day at the beach.
“Last beach day before my summer adventures,” Shep captioned a photo of himself on the shoreline with a surfboard in hand. “Waves were rideable. So [I] partook.”
Shep then excitedly informed his followers about the incredible trip he has planned for the coming weeks, including stops in England and Italy. “London and Amalfi Coast, I’m coming for ya!” Shep noted on his Instagram Story.
The Instagram Stories didn’t end there for Shep. He later shared a snapshot of a song he loves listening to in his car, noting it as the “perfect traveling song.” As for the name of the tune? It was none other than “Jessica” by The Allman Brothers Band.
Shep Rose reveals what’s he’s been up to since Southern Charm Season 9
Earlier this year, Shep shared how he’s been spending his free time since filming commenced on Season 9 of Southern Charm. In January, he posted on Instagram to give a glimpse of his trip to Costa Rica, where he engaged in some soul-searching.
In his post, Shep began with, “Well, since I haven’t had any qualms about sharing lately, as many of you know! (See part one of the reunion) Here’s what I’ve been up to lately. I just feel like this can only shed light and perhaps help some folks.”
Shep continued to explain how he went “searching for answers,” in Costa Rica, and since returning home, he feels “very clear, happy and hopeful.”
“I’ll leave you with this though – one of the many things I took from the week,” Shep continued. “A yoga/meditation teacher had a shirt (slide 7 I think) that said what’s mine is mine, what’s yours is yours. Y No Pasa Nada (which means and that’s ok. All good. Etc) We all have different approaches, ideas, points of views/opinions. And they are ours. And yours is yours. And that’s alright. So thanks for all the support, truly means a lot.”
