Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador has taken responsibility for her DUI arrest. She has acknowledged that she made a terrible mistake. And Shannon’s relationship with alcohol has resulted in her latest falling out with Tamra Judge. While Tamra would like to see Shannon attend rehab, instead Shannon is handling her issues with out-patient therapy. And possibly some lemons in a bowl.

Tamra told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast that she believes that Shannon needs more help with her alleged drinking problem. “I do think she needs to go to rehab,” Tamra stated. During the Season 18 RHOC premiere, Shannon’s co-stars Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson voiced the same feelings.
“But I do think that she needs to acknowledge the fact that she needs to go to rehab,” Tamra continued. “She can’t just go because people are telling her to go. She has to go because she wants to stop drinking.”
Tamra added, “I don’t think she’s willing to [go to rehab].” She also noted that she doesn’t feel like Shannon has “hit rock bottom yet.” That’s a scary thought. Plus, Shannon’s decision that it is fine to have just two cocktails per event worries her fellow orange-holders.
A rep for Shannon didn’t reply to Page Six’s request for comment.
As for Shannon? She feels that her DUI “has forced me to look at my life. I have a lot of work to do,” she stated. “It’s probably lifelong, but I feel good about myself.”
But one thing that Shannon doesn’t feel good about is Tamra weighing in on her drinking habits. “She has no right. Who made you the judge and jury of what I should and shouldn’t be doing in my life?” Shannon stated.
Buckle up, because Season 18 of Orange County is going to be on fire.
