Daisy Says No To The Bachelorette Due To New Relationship

The Bachelor alum spoke to TV Insider about her new boyfriend, Thor Herbst. Daisy Kent admitted that the budding romance is the reason she turned down becoming the next Bachelorette. 

“I’m so happy right now, and I think I’m getting to work with amazing brands like Daisy and kind of focus on the things I want to bring awareness to, hearing loss and that stuff,” she told the publication.

Daisy continued, “I’m also in a very happy relationship, so, no, [The Bachelorette is] not for me.” She also stated that she loves the Bachelor franchise and looks forward to doing other stuff with them.

When it comes to Thor Herbst, Daisy has actually known him for a while. The couple first met in college and recently reconnected. “We were really good friends in college, and then we dated for a little bit, not very long, and decided it was just best for us to be friends, and then we recently rekindled,” she shared.

The Bachelor alum also made it clear that she’s really happy in the relationship. She’s also been excited to have him by her side while her life has been hectic over the last year.

Daisy Kent’s Life Has Been Changed Forever

Daisy Kent became a fan favorite during Season 28 of The Bachelor. Many fans believed that Joey Graziadei would give her the rose at the final ceremony and were shocked when the rose was given to Kelsey Anderson. Despite being shattered by Joey’s decision, Daisy went into the final rose ceremony with dignity.

In the end, it worked out for Daisy because now she’s in a great relationship with Thor. She told TV Insider that it has been “fun” because he knew her before she was on television. It’s been “cool” to share the experience with him and her friends.

Thor isn’t the only new partner Daisy has either. The Bachelor star has recently gotten a partnership with Daisy brand Cottage Cheese.

“Whenever I think of cottage cheese and sour cream, I think of the Daisy brand,” she said. “When I was a little girl and still, I’m like, ‘I’m gonna grab it because it has my name.’”

Now, Daisy said that she chose the brand because of its straightforward ingredients and health benefits. She said, “I’m very cautious about what I put into my body just because of all the health issues that I’ve had and would have gone through.”

Daisy Kent is absolutely thriving after The Bachelor and fans couldn’t be happier for her.
