Amid the Falcons‘ joint practices with the Dolphins, the team may have just seen its first major injury of the offseason. According to our friend Miles Garrett, who is on-site in Miami, Atlanta’s trade acquisition Rondale Moore suffered a non-contact injury and was carted off the field.
The entire team came over to offer condolences to Moore on the cart. Does not appear to be good. https://t.co/pwZGaZbXSb

Moore was part of a rare player-for-player deal in which the Falcons sent the Cardinals Desmond Ridder in exchange for the shifty pass catcher.
The hope was that a change of scenery would benefit the former second-round pick. In Atlanta, Moore was competing with Ray-Ray McCloud III for the slot, gadget role in Zac Robinson’s offense.
The Falcons have avoided any serious injuries thus far in the offseason, and though Moore wasn’t expected to contribute in a significant way, any kind of long-term injury is disheartening.
It’s a stark reminder that the only goal of the Falcons and every other NFL club is to get to Week 1 healthy.
