The Falcons were practicing in Miami in a joint training camp with the Dolphins ahead of their first preseason matchup against each other on Friday. Fox 5 Atlanta’s Miles Garrett said Moore suffered a non-contact injury running a route.

Seems to be in a lot of pain, most of the team down on a knee. #Falcons

Arizona traded Moore, their 2021 second-round pick, to the Falcons in March in a one-for-one trade for quarterback Desmond Ridder. Moore played 39 games across three seasons for the Cardinals, accumulating 135 receptions for 1,201 yards and three receiving touchdowns. Last season, he had a career-low 40 catches for 352 yards, a receiving touchdown and rushing touchdown.
The Falcons were hoping to rejuvenate the speedy receiver’s career next to new quarterback Kirk Cousins, while Ridder is listed as the No. 2 quarterback on the Cardinals first depth chart behind Kyler Murray as he battles with Clayton Tune for the backup spot.
