The 24 Best Bravo Reality Shows, Ranked

Bravo’s known for creating some of the most bingeworthy reality television shows around, including Vanderpump Rules, which recently aired drama between straying pretty boy and mixologist, Tom Sandoval, his long-time love Ariana Madix, and the “other woman,” Raquel Leviss. Things got out of hand as that drama reached a heated crescendo. The bizarre love triangle now has its own nickname – Scandoval. This all made for riveting viewing, and it’s a prime example of why Bravo programs are often train wrecks. Even when the drama gets ridiculous, it’s hard to look away. Heated conversations, love on the rocks, money issues, work problems… there’s no life stressor that Bravo hasn’t leveraged to evoke emotions from its audience. As the years pass, the network’s execs stick with what works. They don’t go too far off the beaten track. Since they’ve got their fingers on viewers’ pulses, they’re able to come up with new shows that offer the same types of thrills that older series provide.

Bravo executives know how to produce certain kinds of reality shows – thanks to their slick formula, the hits just keep coming.

One big gun in the Bravo arsenal is Below Deck – it introduced viewers to a Downton Abbey-style dynamic. It’s all about rich people upstairs and servants that are literally (not figuratively) beneath them. Sure, some crew members are up there too, trying to charm obnoxious and entitled guests, but all that niceness is really just a hustle for tips. Rich people have the cash that crew members want. Also, there are boatmances that add a little sizzle at sea. Below Deck is an example of how the network provides onscreen action that’s unique. They’ve moved the typical reality setup to the high seas, placed cast members in confined spaces and then filmed the emotional fireworks. Besides Vanderpump Rules and Below Deck, the network has impressed with Southern Charm, the Million Dollar Listing franchise, and more.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

24 The Real Housewives of Orange County (2006-)

Stream Now on Peacock

The Real Housewives of Orange County has been around for 16 seasons, and there have been RHOC spin-offs, but the show doesn’t captivate viewers like other Real Housewives series do. The problem is that the only cast member remaining from the early days is Tamra Judge. She left for two years before returning in 2022. Nonetheless, the series has its charms, thanks to a ritzy, balmy, sun-soaked vibe, the requisite tanned women with issues, and the expected allotment of spangled dresses in cotton candy hues. Those who thrive on watching rich women act rich will enjoy all that this series has to offer. RHOC’s equivalent of Jersey Shore‘s credo, “Gym, Tan, Laundry,” is “Plastic Surgery, Tan, Buy Something New And Wear It Once’ – it’s a touch of “let them eat cake” decadence that may just be aspirational.

Not everyone aspires to this lifestyle, but those who do want the easy life may find the sometimes-shallow meanderings of RHOC cast members soothing. Oh, to be so carefree!

The thing is, no one can live without some degree of emotional intensity. That’s why these women, who could (if they preferred) spend their days painting their fingernails and reading Vanity Fair, find ways to stir up trouble. That saves them from going full Marie Antoinette… i.e. stuffing bonbon after bonbon into lipsticked mouths while the peasants who cook and clean for them silently store up rage. When these expensively clad Housewives get into it, it all becomes interesting.

The haze of wealth and privilege melts away and there is something worth seeing.

Vicki Gunvalson returned to RHOC in 2022 after a four-year break from the show – however, she came back in a “friend of” role. The mocking Marie Antoinette example is meant to entertain (with a grain of truth to add some pepper), as some of these Housewives, including Vicki, have worked hard to get where they are – for this reason, their journeys can be fascinating.

Vicki carved out a successful career in the financial services/insurance niche.

Alexis Bellino is coming back for more (in that “not holding a diamond” “friend of” kind of way), so the show’s changing in diverting ways – it’s one to watch in 2024 and beyond. While it’s not the first series that comes to mind when one thinks of the Real Housewives franchise, it’s worth watching. So, don’t forget about Orange County!

23 The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (2020-)

Stream Now On Peacock

While it is one of the least-watched shows in the Real Housewives franchise, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is different enough to entertain. The storylines feature an almost Shakespearean level of drama, especially when it comes to Jen Shah and her sickening misdeeds. Yes, she’s the housewife accused of scamming vulnerable old people to make a quick buck. She’s a cross between Elvis Presley’s greedy manager, Colonel Tom Parker, and Cruella de Vil. Few people ever sink this low and Jen was convicted of doing so. She’s an interesting archetype – this villain took people for a ride for the sake of cold, hard cash.

Since so much of the series’ premise is tied to money (having it and spending it), it’s interesting to look at the shadow side. What Jen has done to become wealthy matters – she’s hurt people. White collar crimes can ruin lives.

It’s rare to see this kind of criminal activity in a Real Housewives storyline, although it’s not unheard of. Teresa and Joe Giudice ended up doing hard time, and frankly, Teresa looked fit and fabulous in her prison scrubs. Soon enough, Jen, who was sentenced to over six years in prison after copping a plea, needed to figure out how to style that “bad girl” look. Her Orange Is The New Black phase is riveting – a twist of fate that, while richly deserved, was also unexpected. Jen’s trip to the dark side (learn more about it in the clip shown above) is one good reason why viewers should give this underrated Bravo show a shot (or a second chance).

22 Below Deck Mediterranean (2016-)

Below Deck Mediterranean

Everyone talks about Below Deck, but there is every reason to call the spin-off Below Deck Mediterranean just as interesting and entertaining as its predecessor. In this series, the superyacht cruised to various locations in the Mediterranean, including Greece, Croatia, Italy, France, Spain, and Malta. These places are totally beautiful – they spark the imagination. It’s hard to watch without imagining oneself at the locations. While some people may not make it to these luxe destinations, they can fantasize. The show offers so much fodder for those who enjoy travel and exploring. The white boats featured on the show are tricked-out like nobody’s business. Burled walnut, sheets with astronomical thread counts, and delicate porcelain tableware are just the beginning. Soak up the ambiance and dream. The show has its drama, but it’s also a travelogue… and a dreamy escape from the mundane. Hannah Ferrier, who got busted for bringing contraband on a maritime vessel, was the series’ great diva.

As with the original, this series follows the superyacht’s crew members as they attempt to make trips pleasurable for their clients. Sandy Yawn has served as the captain since the second season, and she’s become almost as famous as Below Deck’s iconic “stud of the sea,” Lee Rosbach. Captain Sandy isn’t a perfect leader. Known for micromanaging to the max, she can actually be extremely annoying. However, her job isn’t easy, and it’s inspiring that a woman’s controlling a huge and costly vessel. For a long time, the world of high-end yachting was a boy’s club. Women like Captain Sandy are breaking the glass ceiling. They’re just as skilled and competent as men. Also, some of the shade that gets thrown Sandy’s way may be linked with sexism.

People are used to seeing men in captain roles. It’s important to be open to the idea that women can excel in every line of work, even the most “traditionally male” positions.

Below Deck Med is simply delicious – the views are splendid and living vicariously through charter guests who have money to burn is a lot of fun. Who doesn’t want to laze around on a yacht, be served great meals (well, most of the time) and recline in comfort while a crew works on planning the next fun party? This is escapism at its finest, but sometimes, a little reality creeps in. Crew members fight – they make mistakes on the job. There’s enough genuine emotion to power this nautical franchise for years.

21 Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (2003-2007)

Stream Now On Tubi

The cast of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy with one of their heroes

Queer Eye For The Straight Guy premiered on Bravo way back in 2003. The show ran for five seasons and 100 episodes. The Fab Five performed makeovers on the show’s guests – in early seasons, they worked their magic on straight men. The charming Queer Eye crew showed the fashion-challenged how to dress. The people getting the makeovers also got grooming tips, haircuts, and life coaching. This show was snarky with a heart – it had all the elements to intrigue and inspire. It was so easy to love the OG Fab Five and their mission. They were really helping other people, to the extent of showing people how to create healthy and delicious meals.

Also, the show’s gay sensibility rocked – in the fashion world, that sensibility has been the motor for decades of creativity and excellence. This inclusive, feel-good series is about valuing everyone – that’s why it’s everything.

20 The Real Housewives Of New York City (2008-)

Stream On Peacock & Hulu

The Real Housewives of New York City

The Real Housewives of New York City was the second city to be added to the franchise, and this series is addictive. This show sparked the successful careers of some #girlboss luminaries, including Bethenny Frankel. Plus, the location is pure excitement – what could be more energizing than a Big Apple backdrop? The city that never sleeps offers endless possibilities. The show has quite a cast – these women have distinct personalities.

In particular, the ups and downs of Countess Luann de Lesseps make for riveting viewing. A beguiling mixture of beauty (age never takes it away), ego, social climbing moxie and vulnerability, the “Countess” was born to be on TV. Luann couldn’t hold onto her “royal” title, but no matter – she’s still the Countess. Whether she’s frolicking with a sexy pirate, Tomas (who strongly resembled Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow), or “feeling Jovani,” she’s a total star.

So, where does Luann’s vulnerability come in? It’s linked with her addiction. On these shows, the booze flows and that’s very dangerous for alcoholics. Luann has lived with a drinking problem for years. Under that tough but glossy veneer, there is a woman in pain. Luann has tried to conquer her addiction – it is not easy to do that.

Addicts should stay away from environments that trigger them. Luann films for a show with a drinking culture – the Housewives are always holding big glasses of wine.

Sadly, the series took a major dip in ratings in season 13, making it one of the least likable shows in the franchise. However, the cast is still interesting. It’s the direction the show took in later seasons that’s the problem. Regardless, RHONY has some amazing episodes. Many were hoping season 14 would turn things around, but this series still needs a shot of adrenaline.

19 Million Dollar Listing New York (2012-)

Stream On Peacock

Fredrik Eklund in MIllion Dollar Listing wearing a suit and standing in an apartmeent

Now that Netflix has Selling Sunset, Bravo fans are leaning towards a new type of real estate reality show. However, they shouldn’t forget about Million Dollar ListingMillion Dollar Listing has two cities in the franchise: Los Angeles and New York. The franchise’s figurehead is the very charming and driven Frederick Eklund. While wearing some extremely flashy business wear, Frederick schmoozes in such a masterful way. He will do what it takes to get the sale, cutting through indecision with the help of wit, style, and encyclopedic real estate knowledge. Frederick gets his way through sheer force of will. However, he does have a heart. He’s devoted to his husband and kids. In fact, under that expertly groomed exterior, he’s a big marshmallow, willing to make major sacrifices for the people he loves.

Frederick embraced a bicoastal life, but he’s so New York. He’s almost like a fish out of water in LA. The Big Apple, with its buzzy energy, was made for people like Frederick. As so many other people have done, he went to New York City to make his mark. He succeeded beyond his wildest dreams. It’s fascinating to watch Manhattan real estate agents try to flog insanely expensive real estate – competition is fierce and there are dizzying highs and lows. When a sale falls through at the last minute, even the most glam and sophisticated realtor can get rattled. Sometimes, the Million Dollar Listing stars showcase their ruthlessness – however, there are warmer moments when their personal lives take center stage.

Overall, this franchise has a lot going for it. It’s glitzy, diverting and shines a light on some amazing architecture and interior design.

18 Project Runway (2004-)

Stream Now On Peacock

The judges on Season 13 of Project Runway on the catwalk in business attire

Project Runway is another one of the channel’s most successful television shows. This reality competition follows a group of aspiring designers as they compete in challenges and get eliminated one by one. The series won a Peabody Award in 2008 and has had multiple spin-offs over the years. One of the most exciting elements of classic Project Runway was Tim Gunn. He and Heidi Klum had amazing chemistry on the show and Tim’s a real fashion man. He lives and breathes it. He’s got total credibility. Tim is so Vogue. He’s immersed in that world – Tim is no poseur. Those who follow fashion know that Tim, who was a Liz Claiborne creative director and Parsons School of Design faculty member, is the real thing.

On the show, Tim was delightedly old school. Dressed in formal suits, he offered advice in such a gracious and witty way. He’s not someone who puts everything about his life out there, so Tim keeps his mystique. However, when it comes to fashion, he’s quite straightforward. This charming man added so much value to the show. He was a stellar asset, giving the series a unique charm. He was irreplaceable. The advice he offered was based on years of hard work and passion for fashion. If Tim says a jacket doesn’t fit well, it doesn’t. If he wants more embellishments or less, the show’s aspiring designers should listen and learn. Tim knows what’s best. Those who don’t listen miss a golden opportunity to refine their craft and become the best they can be. Tim was there to help and the wisdom he brought to the show is now an integral part of its legacy.

The new iteration of Project Runway wasn’t as exciting – Karlie Kloss did her best to breathe life into the show, but the loss of Tim and Heidi left a chasm that no one could really fill. Also, the show became so politically correct that it lost some of its snarky edge. Nonetheless, it’s worth watching, if only to see what up-and-coming designers are doing. Project Runway celebrates artistry and beauty, and some of its participants are very inventive artisans.

Host Tim was a part of Project Runway’s best seasons, but that doesn’t mean the show isn’t still strong today. Its 19th season finished in 2021 and continues to engage with those who adore fashion. Tim and Heidi moved on to Making The Cut, which showcased some amazing designers, including Gary Graham. Gary looked back for inspiration – his custom textiles gave his designs old-school charm. However, when it came to cutting pieces, he was definitely modern. This juxtaposition is what makes fashion so exciting. While Tim and Heidi are no longer a part of the Project Runway empire, they are still immersed in the fashion world.

Heidi’s a supermodel who’s been a muse – Tim is a man who understands the fashion industry inside and out.

17 The Real Housewives Of Dallas (2016-2021)

This Texas Treat Is So Watchable

Custom image by César García

This is another underrated Bravo gem that Real Housewives fans should check out. There were some strong personalities on The Real Housewives of Dallas. They say,

the bigger the hair, the closer to God

and this show really put that credo into action, It’s Texas, y’all! One of the standout cast members was Lee Anne Locken. She was captivating for all the wrong reasons. LeeAnne’s temperamental, histrionic… a veritable wildfire of emotions and intensity. Her ego is swollen yet fragile. Under all that bravado, there’s some real emotional damage and that’s what makes watching LeeAnne so riveting. Her hardscrabble upbringing made her long for something more. However, the social climbing circles of ritzy Dallas are a jungle. If you love juicy drama with spicy local flavor, this Texas treat will please you.

Watch What Happens Live is Bravo’s late-night talk show starring Andy Cohen. While the talk show isn’t a reality series, Andy interviews Bravo reality stars and talks about the series that fans love. Andy’s had a ton of celebrities on as guests – some have even made repeat visits. This show is about juicy gossip and fun banter. Andy’s a witty person who creates interesting dynamics with his guests, whether they’re real housewives or Below Deck alums or whatever. He finds ways to make every interaction interesting, and his interviews give Bravo fans a deeper look at the thoughts and feelings of “Bravolebrities.” Andy Cohen is never afraid to go there with celebrities and asks his guests the questions that fans want answered. To lighten the mood, drinks are typically involved, and he has guests from the audience (and on social media) chime in with their own questions.

15 The Real Housewives Of Potomac (2016-)

The Real Housewives Of Potomac is one of Bravo’s newer cities in The Real Housewives franchise, and fans can’t get enough of it. Some hilarious one-liners and scenes are iconic. Some Real Housewives cities don’t feature a lot of husbands, but this show is the exception. In this franchise, the husbands of Potomac are very involved, and that leads to truly outlandish storylines and issues. Marital drama is definitely a draw – wives and husbands often fight like cats and dogs. They know each other so well that they understand how to push each other’s buttons. However, husbands and the drama that they bring isn’t all that this Maryland-based show has to offer. There’s also wild fashion, arguments between female cast members, and funny moments.

The series ran its seventh season in 2022, and there is a multitude of scenes and storylines that RHOP fans love to re-watch after every episode. More action is on the horizon. Four days ago, in late May 2024, an eagle-eyed fan on Reddit, MysteriousView4415, noticed Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby filming:

“at Union Market.”

One of the most memorable storylines featured Ashley’s husband, Michael Darby. He’s a scandal-prone guy whose sexuality is questioned. This is because he allegedly groped a man. The person he was accused of touching without consent was one of the show’s cameramen. In an US Weekly exclusive, Ashley defended her partner. She said:

“I just don’t understand why everyone is so fixated on trying to make Michael look like he’s gay. He’s not gay. … He doesn’t hook up with guys.”

The couple went on to separate in 2022. They had a 29-year age gap, which might have been a factor in their breakup. There was so much gossip about this pair, and they rarely seemed to be on the same page. It’s probably best that they decided to go their separate ways. Nonetheless, they aren’t formally divorced yet. While filming The Real Housewives of Potomac season 8 reunion, Ashley explained that their marriage wasn’t legally over. However, she did tell Andy:

“I have some movement. I’m not divorced, but I have some movement.”

The Vanderpump Rules cast in Season 7 promo shot with glammed up cast members and logo

Vanderpump Rules started as a spin-off of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but quickly separated itself from the franchise and became a star show on its own. The series follows the waitstaff at SUR, the restaurant owned by Lisa Vanderpump, as they aspire to become actors and models. Hollywood is filled with ambitious young people who dream of winning Oscars and living in glitzy mansions. Of course, many of them never realize those dreams. Tinseltown can be a jungle, and getting on the A-List (or even the B-List or C-List) is no easy feat. However, there’s more than ambition at play onscreen. For example, the “Scandoval” rocked the franchise, and there are still aftershocks. When Tom Sandoval cheated on Ariana with her “friend” Raquel, he created a powder keg situation that led to some truly wrenching scenes. Tom tried to justify his conduct, saying that he and Ariana had been growing apart. However, his “true love” situation with Raquel didn’t last. Their relationship couldn’t withstand the pressures of living in the wake of the scandal – castmates judged them – the whole world did.

Their dramatic antics and all of their romantic entanglements make this show a must-watch. While the series’ upcoming season could be Vanderpump Rules’ last, it’s still one of the best shows on Bravo. Seeing Lisa deal with these young people and stir up their drama is highly entertaining. Lisa hit some turbulence during the COVD-19 pandemic, as many restauranteurs did. She closed her Pump eatery and bar in May 2023. She claimed that it was being shut down because lease renewal became too complicated. However, it’s possible that the watering hole and dining establishment was just not profitable anymore. Lisa and her husband Ken Todd are savvy businesspeople who know when to cut their losses. In upcoming seasons, there may be more details about the Scandoval, but a lot of facts have already emerged, and Ariana and Tom are estranged. Ariana went on to leverage the scandal – for example, she scored a part as Roxie Hart in a production of the play, “Chicago.” That play is really about female rage. In one song, a woman sings:

“He had it coming.”

13 Summer House (2017-)

Stream Now On Peacock

The cast of Summer House posing outside in front of house in Montauk

Summer House kicked off on Bravo in 2017 and made the careers of many of its stars. The series followed a group of friends who rented a house in Montauk, New York for the summer. With most of the cast living in New York City, cameras rolled as they left their city lives for weekends. They traded the high-stakes world of Big Apple business for some downtime by the pool or at the beach. While it all seemed lighthearted enough, some of the cast members had problems. One of them, Carl Radke, recently opened up to The New York Times about his sobriety journey. He said that during early seasons of the show, he was sometimes so drunk that the producers couldn’t use his scenes. He said:

“We were so drunk at the oyster farm, there was no story. Nothing was being really moved along. And just us shucking oysters and drunkenly saying stupid things.”

To the publication, he also talked about his engagement to Lindsay Hubbard, which is now over, and the pain he endured due to the death of his brother. He was very depressed when his sibling passed away – that’s such a great loss, and he deserves compassion. With regard to Lindsay, Carl said he had trouble expressing his feelings. He knows he made mistakes.

Onscreen, he’s gotten the villain edit but so have a lot of other people. Sometimes, he’s endearing. Carl has ups and downs that play out while the cameras roll. He’s one of the reasons why the series, which has run for eight seasons, still has a strong fan base. Viewers have watched the cast members grow up over the years, or try to. The party lifestyle in Montauk didn’t make it easy. While some cast members had more party energy than others, the drinking culture made it hard to behave well. Of course, most reality fans don’t want to watch reality stars behave well. They want antics and drama and Carl and his castmates really deliver. Carl seems to have changed and believes that the show has helped him to survive some very tough things.

What makes Summer House great is that it’s not as produced as shows like Vanderpump Rules. The cast features longtime friends who continue to show up (and put up) with each other despite hookups, breakups, fights, and everything in between. The show was so juicy that a spin-off called Winter House was released in 2021. Sure, the castmates are getting older, but that doesn’t mean that they’re above stirring things up onscreen. At this point, since the show’s been so successful, viewers likely know a lot about the show’s stars. They are surely emotionally invested in their journeys. For this reason, this series could remain on the air for a very long time. The format resonates with viewers, who may dream of living the same type of lifestyle. Montauk is about wealth and privilege – it’s a place where moneyed people gather to relax amid luxury. The East Hamptons location is definitely aspirational, especially for the Ralph Lauren set.

12 The Real Housewives Of New Jersey (2009-)

Stream Now On Peacock

Split image of Teresa coming home and Danielle pulling Margaret's hair on RHONJ

The Real Housewives franchise has had shows in many different cities with unique cast members from each. The Real Housewives of New Jersey entry is one of the most memorable. It has some famous faces that viewers might recognize even if they’ve never watched it. One of the series’ “queens” is Teresa Guidice. She’s attractive, fit, feisty and known for her wild feuds. She was the woman who flipped a restaurant table in a blind rage. Teresa’s a legend – yes, she plays the villain, but it’s impossible to look away. Whatever that “X factor” is that stars need to have to make an impression onscreen, she’s got it. To add to the legend, this reality star did hard time. Teresa ended up in the slammer due to wire, bank, and mail fraud convictions. Her now-ex Joe Giudice got deported due to the same legal issues. While Teresa and Joe were two reasons why the show became great, the locale, the strong Jersey vibes, and the rest of the cast also added a lot of richness and color.

Compared to other cities in the franchise, there’s no dynamic quite like New Jersey’s. While these Housewives’ lifestyles might not be quite as opulent as those of housewives from other cities, they are definitely highly entertaining to watch. Actually, the fact that it’s not as fancy might actually make it more exciting. Sometimes, watching rich people live their lives isn’t exactly a thrill or a laugh riot – nor is it relatable. Since the RHONJ lifestyles are slightly less highfalutin, it may be easier for viewers to understand where they’re coming from.

11 Southern Charm (2013-)

Stream Now On Peacock

Thomas yelling at his dinner party guests on Southern Charm

Southern Charm is one of many Bravo shows that puts a group of people in one city together and watches their drama play out. In some ways, it is similar to Vanderpump Rules in that it’s a group of friends (some richer than others) who go through ups and downs in their careers, romances, and friendships. However, what sets it apart is its Southern vibe. The pace is a little slower, good manners mask some fairly heinous misdeeds, and the locales are definitely pretty. There’s good weather too. The show takes place in Charleston, South Carolina. Watching the cast members try to deal with love and life as they embrace Southern culture is fascinating.

The show definitely has had a lot of controversies, but what reality TV show hasn’t? Some Southern Charm stars are a little bit spoiled. One example is Shep Rose, who received checks from his family which made it all too easy for him to party on a regular basis. A womanizer who’s all about coasting on family money, Shep has enough charm to get away with an awful lot. That doesn’t mean that he’s a good guy. Girlfriends who pin their hopes on Shep are almost always disappointed. The cheating is inevitable. Watching entitled and attractive people act up can be very entertaining. Southern Charm, especially in its early seasons, was a guilty pleasure.

Shahs of Sunset is another TV show that follows a tight-knit group of friends and the complexities of their lives, but what set this series apart from other shows on the network was the cultural aspect. These Persian-Americans discussed their family backgrounds, religious beliefs, and cultural standards in a way that was endearing and inspiring. The group was originally seen as BFF goals in the Bravo world. On top of that, the dynamic among the group was incredibly rocky. Lies are told, fights break out, lifelong friends stop speaking to each other… it is a great reality show. Also, there’s glitzy fashion and Hollywood vibes galore. Anyone who wants to learn about a new culture while they watch escapist TV will probably love Shahs of Sunset. Those who are Persian-American or just familiar with the culture may find it fascinating to see what is so close to their hearts on their screens.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is another successful show in the franchise that takes place in Georgia. This particular city gave pop culture some memorable cast members, such as NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore. If Bravo fans are looking for a Real Housewives show that has a bit of a Southern flair, then The Real Housewives of Atlanta is a good option. The Real Housewives of Atlanta has likable cast members – some controversies have added big-time drama to the mix. Similar to New Jersey, Atlanta has charm because of its locale. Both places are interesting and aren’t typical “rich people” destinations (in contrast to Beverly Hills and New York City). Thanks to its authentic cast members and their no-holds-barred comments, it’s a show that has some of the most hilarious catchphrases in Real Housewives history.

While many Bravo shows are focused on the lives of the wealthy, not all of them are. Below Deck is about a group of young adults who work on multi-million dollar yachts. The show follows the crew as they deal with their demanding clientele. As they try to get tips by performing their work duties to the highest standards, they get a taste of “rich people” life. For example, deckhands and interior crew members see some stunning places while cruising aboard white boats. The series does a phenomenal job of showing an industry that isn’t shown often. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that the show has some of the worst guests – their antics, such as getting super drunk and touchy-feely, or just acting bratty, guarantee tremendous TV. The jobs the crews do, the everyday issues they face on the boat, and the problems that arise are unlike any reality show on Bravo, except of course Below Deck spin-offs, which are fun variations on a theme.

Of all the Real Housewives shows to be made so far, RHOBH has got to be one of the most iconic. Every Housewife in the current season is memorable in their own way, and has been a part of monumental arguments that add to the show’s drama. The outrageous moments on RHOBH seem to get wilder every season. Season 11’s storyline, revolving around Erika Jayne, was one of the most thrilling. Erika was always a cool customer – she seemed to see dollar signs.

This “practical” woman is all about cold, hard cash. She used her now-ex husband’s funds to finance a pop music career – she went to J.Lo lengths by hiring a costly glam squad to keep her looking perfect at all times. Then, like the downfall of the Roman Empire, it all crumbled. The money that was Erika’s lifeblood stopped flowing. That’s because her now-ex was in trouble – he was a powerful lawyer, but something was very wrong at his law firm. He was allegedly embezzling from the families of victims of a plane crash. Erika started downsizing and her downfall (and her ex Tom Girardi’s) has been very dramatic.

Married to Medicine is a criminally underrated series on Bravo, but it’s beloved by viewers who get sucked in. It’s something of a cross between The Real Housewives shows and Vanderpump Rules – however, it’s smarter and more thought-provoking. The series follows different women and their families who are in the medical profession in Atlanta, Georgia. Some women are doctors while others are the wives of doctors. Either way, viewers get to see how these professionals balance work and play. There are hopeful moments along with complicated family dynamics. Married to Medicine is truly unlike any reality show on Bravo and is one of the best.

Many of the shows on this list are focused more on relationships and interpersonal drama, but Top Chef is competition-based. If Bravo viewers love cooking shows with a lot of intensity, Top Chef is a good option. It puts its contestants through a series of cooking challenges as they compete for the title of Top Chef. Even though this series isn’t Bravo’s usual programming, it’s one of Bravo’s most well-known and successful series. There are multiple spin-offs and adaptations, and the series even won two Emmy Awards.
