The Philadelphia Flyers had eight prospects representing each of the four countries that participated in the World Junior Summer Showcase, which finished up on Saturday.
The Flyers had five prospects suiting up for Team Canada—Oliver Bonk, Denver Barkey, Jett Luchanko, Carson Bjarnason, and Carter Sotheran.
Noah Powell was called up for the United States, while Jack Berglund and Heikki Ruohonen represented Sweden and Finland, respectively.
The final day of the tournament saw Finland pull off a 5-3 comeback win against Sweden, while the U.S. narrowly beat Canada in a thrilling 5-4 shootout win.
Luchanko and Barkey both scored during the match, while Bjarnason made 27 saves.
The WJSS is seen as the first step in these countries compiling their rosters for the 2025 World Junior Championship.
While this will be the last international outing of the summer, the Flyers will still be holding rookie and main preseason camps, which a number of these prospects are expected to participate in.
