The Season 14 Real Housewives of New Jersey finale is almost here. Viewers have been waiting to hear who, if anyone, from the current cast, is returning. Teresa Giudice made it plain that she would only leave if a giant hook yanked her off the Jersey housewife stage. Meanwhile, her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, has acknowledged that a cast change must happen to save the show.
If your cast is so divided that you can’t even film a reunion, the situation is out of control. Of course, most of the blame can be handed to Teresa and Melissa, who refused to interact at all. And now, Teresa is sharing her thoughts on the matter.
Teresa Giudice will not share her camera time with Melissa Gorga
Teresa was a guest on Kelly Ripa’s podcast, Let’s Talk Off Camera. Fans know that Teresa and Melissa finally interacted during the upcoming finale. Well, Teresa repeatedly called Melissa a “whore.” I guess if Teresa is upset with you, you are pretty much a “whore.” Or a “prostitution whore.”
Still, Teresa refused to budge on filming with Melissa. “Never again. First of all, to me, family is so sacred,” Teresa told Kelly. “I’m all about … you’re Italian Kelly. I’m all about The Godfather movie. You never go against the family.” She added, “I live by that, I stand by that, I’m a loyal person.”
Hold up now. Then shouldn’t Teresa also be loyal to her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa? I think that Teresa has a conveniently shifting definition of family and loyalty.
Meanwhile, this season has demonstrated why a divided cast isn’t salvageable. Although Andy Cohen has mentioned having “maybe just all fresh faces,” he also stated that no decisions have been made about next season. Then we have Teresa, in possibly one of her most hypocritical social media posts, pleading for everyone to stop the online “toxicity.” No word on whether that includes allegedly leaking stories about RHONJ to bloggers. Right, Teresa and Jennifer Aydin?
It remains to be seen whether Teresa or Melissa will return to Jersey next season. Perhaps neither one will film. But by refusing to film together and doubling down, Teresa is forcing Bravo’s hand.
