Denise Richards Unites With Fellow Charlie Sheen Ex Brooke Mueller While Filming New Reality Show

On July 28, two of Charlie Sheen’s ex-wives, Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, made nice with each other on the set of a new reality TV show.

Denise Richards teams up with Charlie Sheen's ex to film new reality show.

Last Sunday, the ladies enjoyed a potluck-style picnic with their families on the beach in Malibu. They ate while surrounded by production cameras, facing the picturesque Pacific Ocean.

A family affair

Though Denise was a brunette for a while, she’s back to her platinum tresses and dazzled in a flowing purple maxi dress. Brooke was more comfortable in jeans and a tan, long-sleeved sweater.

Why You Rarely Hear From Charlie Sheen Anymore

Page Six captured the exclusive photos of the luncheon. Though it’s unclear what everyone was gathered to film, it was most likely for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum’s new show on E! The working title of the upcoming reality show is Denise Richards and the Wild Things.

The show is reported to be family-oriented, so Denise’s two daughters with Charlie, Sami and Lola Sheen, were also on set. Brooke brought along one of her and Charlie’s twin sons, Max Sheen. Denise’s current husband, Aaron Phypers, was also present.

Denise and Brooke appeared to enjoy each other’s company, talking and laughing together as they shared the meal. Their children are siblings, after all.

As I recall, Denise has always been supportive of Brooke. In 2013, Denise cared for Brooke’s then two-year-old twin sons, Bob and Max, while Brooke was in rehab. Charlie wasn’t able to care for them at the time, but since 2023, the boys have lived full-time with Charlie, who’s raising them as a single dad.

It’s complicated

E! announced last month that the Wild Things star had signed up for her second reality show on the network. In addition to Denise, the half-hour docuseries will star her holistic healer husband and their three girls. Denise adopted her third daughter, Eloise, as an infant in 2011.

“My family and I are thrilled to return home to E!” the former Bond Girl said in a statement at the time. Her first show, Denise Richards: It’s Complicated, ran for two seasons from 2008 to 2009.

Episodes will revolve around the “complicated and unpredictable” drama in their family life, as her loved ones “test each other’s boundaries” while living in the spotlight.

“Our lives are full of fun, love, and unpredictability,” Denise shared. “We can’t wait for the audience to share this adventure with us.”
