As the 60-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star navigates ex-boyfriend John Janssen‘s new relationship with Alexis Bellino, 47, on the show, it has been confirmed that she receives five-figure monthly payments from David, also 60, and that she was awarded a number of items in their 2019 split.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch Weekly on July 31, Shannon and David signed off on their divorce settlement on April 24, 2019, nearly two years after they split following 17 years of marriage, agreeing to share joint legal and physical custody of their three daughters, Sophie, 23, and twins Stella and Adeline, 20.

“The parties shall communicate with one another to ensure the children are appropriately care for at all times. The parties shall cooperate to promote healthy parent-child relationships between each party and each of the children, and neither party shall make derogatory remarks about the other in the presence of the children,” their court order stated.

As they also agreed to continue living in Orange County unless granted consent by the other, David agreed to pay Shannon $10,000 in spousal support, less than the amount of child support, which was $2,935 at the time, and said he’d split medical costs.

David will continue to pay spousal support to Shannon until April 1, 2029.

As RHOC fans may recall, Shannon was receiving $22,000 per month in temporary support before the agreement was reached.

“It is the parties’ bargained-for agreement for this stipulated order that [David] shall pay [Shannon] $10,000 per month in combined child and spousal support for ten years, and no more and no less than the $10,000 per month in combined support,” their deal stated.

Also per the deal, Shannon was given ownership of a couple of luxury vehicles, including a 2015 Cadillac Escalade and a 2018 BMW 7 Series sedan, numerous bank accounts, her businesses, and all of her own furniture.

As for David, he received a Corona, California, home and several cars, including three Fords, a 2011 Land Rover, a 2017 BMW, a 2018 Porsche Carrera, and a 2019 Mercedes-Benz SUV, as well as all rights to his business and furniture.

Additionally, David paid Shannon a lump sum of $1.4 million to “equalize the division of community property.”

Following their 2019 settlement, Shannon and David found themselves at odds once again in 2021, when David objected to their children appearing on RHOC, saying that he “would like to protect” his “new family,” which includes wife Lesley Beador and their three-year-old daughter, Anna.

“I have a new family that I would like to protect and not expose to a reality television show,” he told the court. “I find it very troubling that these proposed limitations are not acceptable with [Shannon] and/or her counsel considering the fact that [Shannon] and I both have joint legal custody. It is also concerning to me that these narrowly tailored limitations are not acceptable with [Shannon] and her counsel because it gives me the feeling that [Shannon] does in fact intend on referencing either myself, my new wife [and our] new daughter during the filming of this 16th season. This is absolutely not acceptable with me.”

But Shannon said, “My children have grown up on the show and they are excited to film this season.”

“[David] will thereafter typically indicate that he is fine with the girls filming, but then he will place ridiculous and unattainable demands on the production company, network and parent company must adhere to, oftentimes seeking compensation, and all the while threatening litigation for failure to meet those demands,” she added.

Ultimately, Shannon and David agreed that their daughters could film.
