LOVE Island’s Tiffany Leighton thinks that Joey Essex is still into Grace Jackson despite being mean to her.

The pair, who dated last summer, coupled up together when Grace, 25, entered the villa as a bombshell in week two – and they couldn’t keep their hands off each other.

Things were going well for Grace and Joey, 33, until Jessy Potts arrived on day 23.

The former Towie star dropped Grace for Jessy, and ever since, Joey has made comments towards her to try and get a reaction a number of times.

Tiffany thinks that there is unfinished business between the former flames.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Tiffany said: “I feel like Joey still likes Grace. I feel like Joey would have gone back to Grace had she…

“She has held herself so well, she is proper sticking to her guns, and she won’t let anyone treat her badly. She stands her ground so well.

“I feel like he knows that she would never. But he has just constantly got her name in his mouth, so I don’t think it’s like completely done for him.”

Despite that, she thinks it’s nice to see him happy with Jessy – but it’s strange to see them together as she was in the villa when it was Joey and Grace.

She added: “But no, obviously there’s feelings there, but I mean at the end of the day he does also seem happy with Jessy as well.

“Isn’t nice as well.

“It’s just like so weird because when I was in there he was so loved up, he literally adored her so I  think for him to go from that – to watch it is so bizarre  because he is so different to how he was with her when I was like in there with them.

“I don’t get how you can just turn your feelings up like that. But they were so like strong.”

Shortly after Grace entered the villa, fans pointed out that it was a similar format to Ex On The Beach.

They couldn’t keep their hands off each other and enjoyed a raunchy reunion shortly after Grace stole Joey off Samantha Kenny.

But he soon changed his tune when Jessy arrived and she stole him off Grace in a recoupling.

The reality king did tell Grace that she was the one he was more interested in, but soon made a u-turn on his feelings.

Grace made it clear that was the end of anything between them – and since then Joey has been making comments towards her in challenges.

The model seems happy with Reuben Collins.

Some fans claimed Joey is “obsessed” with Grace after an explosive showdown during one challenge.
