Vanderpump Rules OG, Scheana Shay is protecting herself with a tip she learned from co-star and close friend, Lala Kent. Over the years, the two women have become increasingly close, especially in Season 11. Now, Scheana is opening up about what Lala has taught her and how she is applying it to her daily life. Vanderpump Rules Scheana Shay Protects Self With Lala Kent Tip

It took some time for Scheana Shay to warm up to Lala Kent when she first arrived on the scene in Season 4. Scheana had been on Vanderpump Rules since Season 1 and it took her some time to find her place. Once she did, Lala came in and, right off the bat, she lied to Lisa Vanderpump. Scheana and Katie Maloney were chomping at the bit to rat her out but they were also cruel to her, as well. Over time, Scheana and Lala made amends and formed a good friendship. They have had their issues but heavily leaned on one another from Seasons 10 through 11.

More so, they became neighbors and wanted to raise their daughters together. Yes, Lala was worried about Scheana’s husband, Brock Davies and him not having seen his children in years. Plus, his domestic violence issues from his past but they have become a little unit. That being said, Lala has taught Scheana some invaluable lessons and one of them is having people sign NDAs. In her early seasons, Lala shared she had those close to her sign them which seemed crazy.

According to Us Weekly, Scheana Shay shared she is now a fan of NDAs. On her Friday, July 19th episode of her podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana, the mother of Summer Moon further elaborated on this:

“I do make people sign them. They’re quite popular in Hollywood and even among the Vanderpump Rules group.”

That was when Scheana gave Lala Kent credit for bringing them to her attention. So, who has to sign them in her circle? It appears that everyone who knows Scheana is subject to an NDA:

“If you’re in my house and you’re working—[whether] a nanny, my band, anyone who does work for me… It is something that a lot of people do.”

She went on to joke that her family also has to sign them though behind every joke is a little bit of truth.

The Future Of Vanderpump

Right now, the future of Vanderpump Rules is completely up in the air. Season 12 is on an indefinite hiatus in terms of filming. Usually, the show would start filming in early summer but production opted to give the cast the summer off. The hope was that they would live their organic lives and then come back together with new stories and drama, away from ‘Scandoval.’ However, that seems to follow them since Tom Sandoval just sued Ariana Madix and then backtracked on it. Scheana Shay, who was still devastated about losing her friendship with Sandoval, called him out on suing Ariana. Fans have since said they will not watch if he is welcomed back.
