Despite what they might have said themselves, a dating expert has revealed the very clear indications that Love Island 2024’s Joey Essex and Grace Jackson are still into each other. The last few episodes have seen them go back and forth with one another, discussing their past feelings and if there is still anything between them.

Joey Essex has made his thoughts clear: He thinks Grace is madly in love with him. But then Grace has put Joey in his place and said she’s not, and he needs to get over it. Meanwhile, Jessy and Reuben, who Joey and Grace are coupled up with, are probably sick to death of the history between them being brought up.

But, all might not be as it seems. Speaking to FruitySlots.com, dating and relationship guru Jacob Lucas has revealed Grace still has feelings for Joey, as he explained she has a “strong, emotional attachment” to him. Jacob explained Grace has shown the three common signs to this – including how she became “more and more frustrated” as she defended herself about how she really feels towards her ex.

Jacob has predicted they could get back together, as he added Joey likes Grace too – but he “enjoys the attention from lots of different women”, whilst Grace only wants Joey. He then said Jessy and Reuben are there “to fill the void” until Joey and Grace confront each other with their true feelings. Savage!

“Grace still has feelings for Joey – she’s done all of the things that are key giveaways someone still having feelings,” Jacob said. “She is very emotional when people question whether she still has feelings for him. She has to get her point across, but the more she speaks about it, the more frustrated she becomes. She has a strong, emotional attachment to Joey. If they had a conversation about both of their feelings, over time, they could get back together. I believe Grace would take him back.”

He added: “Joey does have feelings for Grace, but Grace’s feelings are a lot stronger. With Joey, he likes the attention from lots of different women. He finds it hard to settle with one, whereas Grace only wants him.”

Jacob predicted Joey and Grace “will have a conversation about what they are both feeling” soon in the villa, and said: “I think they will have a big argument, or they will clash over something – and one of them will get upset. This will then lead them to speak to each other properly and to hear each other out. That’s when their true feelings will come out. That conversation will be a make or break for them. They will either get together and give things another go, or completely write it off.”

So, what about Reuben and Jessy? Jacob said: “Both of their new relationships are quite weak when you look at their levels of connection. Both Reuben and Jessy are there to fill a void until Joey and Grace have that conversation about how they’re feeling. If Grace and Joey wanted to be with Reuben and Jessy, neither of them wouldn’t be getting this frustrated or angry. If there were no feelings involved anymore, they wouldn’t feel these emotions or even be speaking about it.”
