Annemarie Wiley shared an alleged off-camera conversation with Crystal Kung Minkoff, hinted at her ’14 friends’ drama, and said castmates are afraid to challenge Garcelle Beauvais because they’re scared of being labeled ‘racist.’
In a past season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Crystal addressed how she fell out with a group of 14 friends. Kyle Richards challenged her version of events, and she suggested it was a “red flag.”
“[Crystal and I] have a bunch of mutual friends,” said Annemarie on the Reality with the King podcast. “I know a couple of those 14 [friends].”
Carlos asked Annemarie if it was true that some of the friend group left her after castmates called them to do the RHOBH, and Crystal apparently intervened and advised them not to — only to later do the show herself.
“You’re very smart,” Annemarie answered.
The star also claimed Crystal “knew” her “time was getting cut short” on the show, so she decided to bring drama.
“Who better to go at than the newbie?” said Annemarie. “And I thought that was my girl. She was a very different person off-camera versus on-camera. I was her opportunity to start that drama.”
According to Annemarie, Crystal admitted to making up a story about when they first met.
“We were en route to Spain,” said Annemarie. “She’s acting normal, and we haven’t spoken since a week before at Dorit‘s event when she called me the B-word and accused me of title mis[representation].”
“I’m like, ‘Crystal what are you doing? This is my career. This isn’t funny,’” she went on. “And she’s like, ‘No no no it’s fine. Lisa Rinna used to make up stuff all the time. It’s totally fine. I’m just so happy because now I have a storyline. I have my drama for the year and I’ll get to come back next year.’ Verbatim.”

She also addressed her issues with Garcelle.
“[Garcelle]’s been able to get away with unnecessarily playing the race card so many times unchallenged, because who can challenge her, right?” said Annemarie, via @therealhousewiveszone on Instagram. “The other ladies can’t challenge her, so I think that’s been her play for so long.”
Per the account, she also felt Garcelle wished to be the only co-star of color, and she didn’t defend Annemarie when Sutton Stracke used the word ‘attack’ against her.
“It’s the exact same thing [that Dorit said to Garcelle], but [Garcelle] only wants to call it when it applies to her,” shared Annemarie.
Carlos suggested that co-stars are “afraid” to challenge Garcelle due to their fear of being called a ‘racist.’
“I would say yeah,” responded Annemarie. “If I wasn’t Black, I would be.”
